Was up there on Christmas day 2020. This peak offers stellar views of most of the Los Angeles basin. When you look to the east you can see clearly century City downtown Los Angeles Mount Wilson baldy San gorgonio and San jacinto along with saddleback mountain in Orange county and Olive Catalina. Only drawback is like many prominent peaks in this country the entire Western flank is full of communication gear and almost military looking steel towers and apparatus. That area is entirely fenced off and if you do worry about electromagnetic radiation then you probably don't want to spend all that much time up here. The eastern part of the saddle or the back when you look at it from the beaches is a leveled off helic that offers great views although it is a little sad to see what must have been interesting terrain plowed to essentially a gravel parking lot. Still the views are amazing and there are some fascinating rock outcroppings.

Great little crag with a variety of crack and slab climbing. Difficulty ratings are pretty spread, and only the best leads have ground fall potential.
