I have worked with Serras Senior Transitions twice - for a local move to an assisted living facility apartment in 2019 and then for a move out/clean of the apartment one year later. Being out of state, it was very important to me to feel comfortable with the company, and I am happy to say they exceeded my expectations. The owner, Cy Cawthorn, is extremely personable, responsive, and professional. In difficult circumstances when I was not able to travel to clean out my parents' apartment, they took care of EVERYTHING. Clean out, disposal, donation, and consignment. They offer a complete array of services, they are fairly priced, and they are very competent - from the estimator to the men who did the actual move. I highly recommend Serras Senior Transitions for anyone seeking assistance for aging parents. They gave me peace of mind and assurance that everything would be handled well - and it was. We hired Serra Senior Transitions for a very small job (5 pieces of furniture) from one building to another on the same campus. They treated us with kindness and respect as if we'd moved a mansion. Later when we had a larger move in mind, we didn't hesitate to call them again. They moved half of Mom and Dad's furniture to their own truck and the other half to a relative's U-Haul. Movers were professional, polite, and took care with all items, even those going to Goodwill. Would recommend them without hesitation.

We were moving my aunt from FL to assisted living in NJ and I was coordinating this from IN during the pandemic! Cy answered my calls promptly and James was pleasant and efficient in the estimation process. The hard working and courteous crew of 3 men (M, N, & B) were on time, careful in their packing and worked straight through until the house was emptied. Well done! We highly recommend Serras Senior Transition!

This company has a 5-star customer service attitude—and they lived up to that value. They were exceptional! The arrived on time, explained the game plan, and worked hard and efficiently with a positive, can-do approach to every challenge. As with most moves, mine was on a tight timeline and they met my deadline. The care with which the team managed my packing, their attention to detail in protecting my belongings, and their patience in unpacking made this high-stress event far less so. Their laid-back professionalism was a comfort. I am delighted with the entire experience but was especially pleased with Steve’s oversight of my move. He seemed to be everywhere and was on top of everything. I was impressed with his approach at mentoring his team in a way that insured things were done safely and properly while respectfully educating and motivating them. In addition to exceeding expectations, this company is affordable! Without reservation, I highly recommend Serras Senior Transition Movers.

Senior Transitions delivers everything it promises--professional moving services handled with care for your items and personal attention to detail. The employees are knowledgeable as to technique in moving difficult items (piano, large desks and tables, fragile pottery, etc). Overall a truly worry-free experience, with frequent direct communication about appointment times and the special challenges that the move entails. Competitively priced, Senior Transitions provided great value for moving experience. If you are a senior, with cherished furnishings and limited physical abilities, Senior Transitions is the way to go. I highly recommend this company.
