ear Joe and Paula, arrival of our furniture February 1, the first crew that arrived to pick up our belongings to move California toNorth Carolina on January 20th, 2024. They were rude and did not have any paperwork to show me with your logo or the packing list we spent so much time on with Rich on the phone completing. They didn’t know who Paula was. They had no way to prove to me they were working for you. Paula worked very hard and found movers for the following Monday. I was pleased with their professionalism. They showed me the correct paperwork, truck arrived 3 days early driver felt it was unsafe to park the Semi into our driveway. He wanted to charge us for the excessive length to the house. We asked him if he would have charged us the extra fee if he was in the driveway, and he said no. The driver disagreed it wasn’t the same we got out a wheel and measured the distance. It was less than a 6-inch difference. The truck driver agreed not to charge us the distance fee.The local crew that showed up was a different story. The white guy of the group at first was very talkative about how good he was at being a handyman and that we should hiring him for handyman jobs. He took the piece of cardboard off and wrote his information on. He kept on overly zealous with his conversation, which made my daughter and I both uncomfortable. We went inside and watched them through they pulled out a box, and two above it came out and everyone watched it hit the ground and bounce into the ditch. One of the guys pulled it out of the ditch and threw it up in the yard. That box was marked fragile. Asked why boxes were not being put in the rooms as they are marked on the box The white guy stated that they were going to bring everything into one room first to get the truck empty that was the best way. When I would direct them to the location it goes The white guy would still ignore me he at one point stated quietly, “you gotta keep your eyes on the guy with the dreads, he is the laziest guy in my crew, and I have to keep on him all the time.” He also would be behind stacks on boxes for long periods. He also kept asking us, “how much do you think you could get for this if you resold it?” He even wanted to know how much my parrot was worth if I resold her. He also said to my daughter in Spanish as he was going around the hall “f**k your mother” my daughter left for awhile.. I asked how they were going to reassemble our furniture. I was told not to worry. They started putting boxes anywhere they could find space, I took my wallet out of my bedroom I had hidden under a pillow where the white guy was putting boxes in went to the main guy complaining about how the items were being placed and that none of the furniture was being assembled. The main guy went into the house and acted very upset, because he said he thought they were placing boxes where they were marked to go, I felt for my wallet and realized it was missing. I yelled for no one to leave until it was found. One guy stated the white guy had gone already.spent about 45 minutes looking for my wallet while they finished bringing in boxes. The main guy stated it was late and that they could not stay any longer to finish. Still No wallet, we did find boxes that had been opened and gone through. I filed a police report on Feb. 5th for theft as of now the police have not been able to locate him. He gave us false info. We moved boxes to the areas they needed to be in. Bought a hand truck to move the heavier boxes and furniture safely and without scratching the new floors. our boxes had many broken items. Boxes that were marked fragile and were clearly damaged. Found gouged floors underneath funiture. we have contacted your company by phone and email several times. We received no reply, no solution, no assistance. the truck driver called and insisted that I tell your company that I insisted that they just throw everything in one room and didn’t want the furniture assembled. He was very harsh I have requested he please not call me again as I felt he was trying to intimidate me.

The three guys that moved me today (Christian, German , & Alfredo) were the best. They were extremely professional, friendly, and super hard workers. I really enjoyed their work. If we were to move again, I would only hope they are available. Great guys and fun to hang out with. Thanks!

Antonio from Seventh generation tried to hold my furniture for ransom of an additional $1,000 thought I’d already paid them over $5,169. Thank god for the North Lauderdale, Florida police department. At first I thought My Furniture was STOLEN. My delivery was missing.when they finally showed up they tried to charge me $1,000 for redelivery when they didn’t show up on Wednesday as their driver communicated at 8:39 a.m. I was connected with Seventh Generation through Amerisafe moving. When they arrived May 30th, they had a kid name “Bryan” leading them with no maturity. (A police officer placed a parking ticket on his car, he turned to me and stated, “you’re going to pay for this since this is your move. I approached the police officer to explain they are there to move me out. The police officer approached Brian to ask how long he’ll be. Brian walked away from the officer) Amerisafe does not disclose who will be showing up at your home to move you before hand therefore I was unable to review Seventh Generation moving and storage Prior to arrival. Once they arrived I quickly got on google to view their reviews. Seventh Generation reviews were so terrible that I panicked and called Amerisafe STAT. To clean up the mess Amerisafe, was raving on about them and stating to ignore the reviews. Due to the lack of time and being blind sided, I had to move forward with Seventh Generation. Brian then walked into my apartment and of course Brian from Seventh Generation wanted to charge me more than Amerisafe quoted me. I flew in from the east coast and had to be out my apartment by the 31st. Because they knew my back was up against the wall they took full advantage. I paid Seventh generation $5169 compared to $2821.81 quoted by Amerisafe. I had to leave half my stuff behind including TWO queens beds. Fast forward June 19th I spoke to the delivery person stating he was 4 hours away at 8:39 am. Then at 2 pm he stated he was 1 hour away. Then at 4 pm he stated he was in Orlando and would not be delivering my furniture on Wednesday June 19th. I called Amarisafe who also couldn’t clear things up. Thursday June 20th I called the delivery guy from Seventh generation again and he replied that someone else would be delivering my furniture either today or tomorrow. I then decided to eliminate the middle man Amerisafe and googled Seventh Generation phone number. I called Seventh Generation moving 4 times alternating numbers. I could NOT get Seventh Generation on the phone no matter what number I dialed. I was stuck leaving voicemails. Even with the sales department. Late evening June 20th I receive a call from a different driver from Seventh Generation stating my Furnitire will arrive June 21st at 10 a.m. around 11 a.m I speak to Antonio who tells me I have to pay an additional $1,000 re delivery or the truck would be leaving with my stuff though I’ve already paid them $5,169. The drivers had two bank checks of $1682.32 a total of $3,364.64 I’m their hands. They were ready to take off with my stuff for $1,000 of I didn’t call NLPD. After finally removing my stuff off the truck, I was left with a souvenir of a shattered china cabinet. The way things have been going with Amerisafe and Seventh Generation let’s see what goes about replacing my china cabinet.

This company is working with sales man who called Amisafe moving. I made contact for 350 square feet flat charge of $1800. When I paid Darren asked me to pay with credit card $650. And pay half when they start to packing and when arrived my piano, paid remains. Only one grand piano and small light game boxes. The mover supposed to be arrived 10-11AM on 9/9 but showed up 4pm. Finally moved the piano to truck: I paid extra $300 for piano too. It goes without separate the legs but they separated my Steinway piano over $100 K value. They still demand tips, I gave $60. I was giving my credit card, mover said that company policy is only accept check and he demands pay all. I just wrote on check: full payment. They finally left 5:30 PM and drive promised the piano will arrive at 9/9 at 11 pm but they called and said no helpers can not drop off my piano. Driver promised again, he will be delivered on 9/10 at 10AM. After 2PM on 9/20, Alexander Chow, clerk called me said that you paid with your check, we need cash. I have to wait for 3-5 days to clear check then the mover will deliver my piano. Unbelievable with their behavior! When I called and spoke with manager regarding this issue, he hang up on me. Please do not use this company, very bad. Also when I try to give review only one, it goes 5 stars. I am never ever want to use this company,… lying every time and very dishonest staffs. I am giving zero star.

Do NOT use this company or America First Movers. They work together and I ended up with lots of missing items including a swing chair that I was told was on the van, lots of family memorabilia and my wedding dress among other things. They scammed me with price increases and even had the section of insurance pre crossed out to misdirect me. I had over $7500 in losses and the “insurance” paid $500. RIPOFF ARTISTS! BEWARE! I’m giving them 1 star because I can’t rate any lower!
