I've worked for SFI for the past 30 months. Though I have enjoyed the job as a yard driver, I have found that the immediate Supervisor to be completely incompetent and unprofessional. The Supervisor is not only a habitual liar, but a hypocrite in my professional opinion. I have watched him on numerous occasions have a complete melt-down on the silliest things that has nothing to do with customer service or safety. Then I will watch the exact thing that cause him to have a melt-down, do the same thing. The supervisor is nothing more than a spoiled man-child that throughs temper-tantrums and pouts. Also, I found-out through the customer that I was laid-off. Apparently the owner of SFI decided to lay off 100 Yard Drivers according to the Manager, which I have no issue with. The only issue that I have is the way I was notified that my service is no longer required is wrong.
