We’ve used Shleppers for two moves—one local and, most recently, an out-of-state relocation—and both experiences have been exceptional. From the start, their customer service was top-notch (special thanks to Nissim and Felicia for their responsiveness), and the movers were both efficient and professional. During our latest move, the driver skillfully maneuvered an 18-wheeler into our gated community without a hitch—a feat in itself. What truly impressed us, though, was the extra mile they went after the move. Despite my having already signed off on the delivery, the driver reached out a couple of days later to return a box that had somehow become separated from another during transport. He made the effort to deliver it before heading out of state, which we deeply appreciated. If you’re looking for a reliable, competent moving company, I can’t recommend Shleppers enough. They consistently go above and beyond.

We used Shleppers for a two-part move in Manhattan and had a great experience. They disassembled and reassembled the furniture correctly, took care with our furniture, and were overall very professional. Steve from the sales team was easy to deal with and we were recognized for being a repeat customer. They provided the certificate of insurance quickly and shared tips on making our move successful. This is the third time I’ve used Shlepper’s and would recommend them to anyone.

Shleppers failed to provide the quality moving service and professional services paid for. I recently moved using Shleppers and multiple of my items were broken or damaged. I understand some things will inevitably break in a move but my brand new $1,600 TV was broken because they failed to properly pack it. The service I paid for included Shleppers packing the TV in a box, my expectation for this is a padded tv box like other companies provide. They however wrapped it in an extra cardboard box and called it a day. It looked like they rammed it into a pole. It won’t even turn on. They will offer me 30 cents per pound. For a brand new TV they CARELESSLY broke. The other notable item they broke was my dresser. As they were moving it in, the mover was holding it by its legs and the legs snapped off. Well of course they snapped off! In what world would you hold a dresser by its legs? I would have expected more from a “quality” “professional” service. I’ve used Shleppers twice and recommended them multiple times, but will no longer.

This was our second time using Shleppers moving! They were recommended to us by a close friend and we will always use them! They came prepared with a positive attitude ready to help! They were even creative and helpful with ideas of where to place our furniture in our new place ! They were also helpful by taking bags of donations we wanted to give away! We loved them and are so happy in our new home :)
