I’ve dealt with Saia at a couple of places I’ve worked over the years. They can’t stick to delivery appointments, and generally their customer service staff is as in the dark about a delivery as the customer is. Their transit times are longer than many of the major trucking companies, and freight will often get stuck for days on end somewhere along the shipping route. All that said, their drivers are super polite and great to work with if they have to contact you. Customer service folks are also generally nice, even if their hands are tied when it comes to giving real help sometimes. If you call and complain enough they’ll eventually figure it out and get you your freight. The nice employees are all that keep this from being a one star review.

Poor service. They provide you the quote, then send you the bill DOUBLE that amount without reason. We ship to the same customer with the same address then come the second bill add inside delivery of 700 usd? And contact customer service there is no department take care of the issue, just provide you the email, you email a thousand time without response. Will never do the business again and NOT recommend this company.

All my Levolor blinds showed up in prefect. Minor shipper/shipping error and they gave me a call the day before delivery. The driver "Jose" is an excellent worker and was very professional about one missing package, ensuring proper steps were taken. The product was stored up-right as directed. I was grateful to see Jose's smiling face with the straggler package. He takes good care of your delivery. Great work SAIA and Jose.

Worst customer service ever. On my first scheduled delivery day, my package was not deliver. I had to call to learn that the driver claimed he had engine trouble and that I would need to call back to schedule my deliver. I called to reschedule delivery, and on delivery day again no show, no call, nothing. I called again to schedule delivery, only to be given the run-around. 5 days of promises, still no delivery. This can't be the first time this has happened, I doubt it will be the last - avoid SAIA LTL FREIGHT if at all possible.

not on time service. I ordered massage chair (350lbs) from Home depot and the delivery company was Saia trucking. Saia changed schedule two times and (no show no call ahead changed schedule ) even no sorry and blamed to me. I waiting with 3 friends 2 hours. wasted time!! I returned massage chair. Saia is not professional trucking company.
