I used Simply the Best Movers on September 6, 2024 when relocating within Calgary. For me looking for the right moving company was an exhausting and very daunting task. I was looking for honest, reliable, reasonably priced professionals who would take care not to damage anything in the process. Luckily I heard about Simply the Best Movers by a chance meeting with the owner Sasha. He assured me I would be in good hands, and he came through with that promise! Adam and Tim arrived early on the day of pick up, they were quick, efficient, and very personable, which instantly put me at ease. I had everything stacked in our oversized garage ready to go, so it was pretty straightforward for them to load it up. At the delivery destination Adam and Tim took the time to make sure everything was put in its rightful place, which saved me from relocating items to other rooms later on. They were respectful, kind and considerate, paying attention to remove their shoes and not damage anything when entering the house. I am 100% satisfied with Simply the Best movers and have went as far as to recommend them to family, friends and clients. My personal experience I would say was top tier, for nearly half the price of the competitors.

Was moving out of a 2 bedroom, 1000 sqft apartment to an upper suite of a house. 12 hours!!!!! My worst mover only took just over 6 hours! Ended up with damage to the apartment we were leaving, fined by the strata due to going so far beyond the move cut off time, a dresser that is now missing a drawer, and other minor damage! My husband was the hardest worker on the moving team today! Two boxes at a time on a dolly steered by two movers. I would not see them for like 20 minutes! Owner didn’t seem to care, held our furniture for ransom! Their policy is that the bill gets paid before the truck is fully unloaded! Never have I dealt with this before! Some photos of the havoc! Still discovering damage as we sort out the heaps left behind. Oh, the fun never ends! Our BBQ gas line is busted! Going to be out more money because of these guys!!!

Wow, what a disaster! The movers absolutely DESTROYED my items. I wrote an email expressing my disappointment in the move & the responses are disappointing & rude. 1- They cracked my furniture and the movers said it was their fault. I am not being accused by a sale team member that it wasn't their mistake after they already confirmed in an email. 2- They got mud all over my area rug. They said they "rolled" it up. If you removed the pillows from the sofa, how did you get to these without stepping on them. Also, my feet are small & these are large mud smears across the carpet. 3- They scratched up my dining table legs. You can see how nice & fresh those are. Just pushed straight through the door as I saw it happen. I told this to the movers as well. I highly encourage you to look elsewhere for an organization that will treat your concerns with respect & above all else take care of your items that you work hard to earn!

Moving is no fun. We moved my 88 year old dad from his condo to a seniors home last weekend. Peter and Kostya showed up on time. They were very careful not to damage or scratch furniture or walls. They had proper dollies and blankets as not everything was boxed. They never complained and got the job done quickly and efficiently!

I experienced very prompt responses from them throughout the process. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict, I had to cancel my move. However, Alex, the owner, promptly reached out and displayed great understanding and flexibility. His accommodating nature made a significant difference, and I truly appreciate their excellent service. I am very pleased with the overall experience and would highly recommend them.
