Simply Sized was the ideal solution to helping my husband's great-aunt move to independent living while we were out of state. I cannot recommend Simply Sized Home enough for anyone downsizing or having to empty a house. Kim was so efficient, kind and professional when we needed to empty everything out of my mom's home and get it ready to sell. They literally took care of everything as I was out of state. Communication was excellent including frequent texts when needed and photos sent to make sure items in the house were not something we had left behind by mistake! A very professional and efficient team!

Simply Sized Home helped us clear out a home we had sold and move the contents to three different locations while we in another state. Kim, Liz and Troy did a great job of organizing the process and getting everything ready for the move. Every item had to be either tagged for one of the three locations or disposed of, so the organization was critical. I did not feel comfortable with a traditional moving company working through all of the details, but they did a great job. They also communicated very effectively, which was crucial given that we were 700 miles away. We did a room by room video walk through, and then they were available by email or phone throughout the process. They coordinated cleanup, dump runs, giveaways, and the moving company. We were much more comfortable that everything would be taken care of correctly since we could not oversee everything. In the end, clearing out the house went smoothly and on time. We were so pleased with working with Simply Sized Home, that they now take care of our current home in Maine when we are are gone for long periods. Great communication and people you can trust.

I called SimplySized Home after my mother passed away. She had lived in her house for 50 years, and had accumulated many belongings over that time. I was faced with the daunting task of sorting not only a house full, but also a garage and workshop full of my father's tools and collections (he had passed a few years prior). I was referred to SimplySized Home and am so glad I was. I interviewed a couple similar businesses along this line, but none gave me the comfortable feeling that I got when I talked to Kim. I knew from meeting with her that things would be handled professionally and expediently - and they most certainly were. Kim and her team did an outstanding job of sorting the many belongings, disposing of things that were clearly broken or had no value, and most importantly, identified and set aside items that had either monetary or sentimental value. Kim coordinated and did everything for me - she arranged to have a dumpster dropped and picked up, arranged for an auctioneer to come appraise items in the house, and also arranged for a thorough cleaning of the house when they had finished their work and all items had been removed. Not only that, she researched and scheduled a yard care company to maintain the property while it was on the market. They started by sorting everything in the house into like-piles, which made the sibling walkthroughs so much easier. Once that was complete, she arranged for unwanted items to be donated to the appropriate places, and for potential auction items to be picked up. She was there to meet all of these parties when it came time, which saved me from having to do all that work. I was able to watch her in action first-hand when we were at the house during the sibling walkthroughs. She coordinated movers to arrive at the right time to help move items that siblings wanted, and when they weren't doing that, she kept them busy clearing the house of items that had to be disposed of in the dumpster (mattresses and the like). Kim and her team collaborate wonderfully together, as well as with whatever other parties they need to work with (auctioneers, movers, cleaners, etc.). Kim was always willing to discuss any questions I had along the way and walk me through everything. I always knew what to expect. She asked me when I wanted the house on the market - I told her - and she not only met, but exceeded that goal. She coordinated her and her team's schedule to make sure that date was met - and I always knew what was happening when. The thing that impressed me most about Kim and her team was the constant contact I had with her. I knew whenever I had any questions or information to pass along to her, that she was simply an email away. Every single one of my emails were responded to in a timely fashion - something which I so appreciated. I cannot recommend SimplySized Home strongly enough! They are a wonderful group of people - and felt more like friends helping than a 3rd party I'd hired. That made the ordeal so much easier and I thank them for that. If you're looking for someone to simply organize things for you, or do a soup-to-nuts clean out of an estate home, you need look no further than SimplySized Home. I have recommended SimplySized Home verbally to many of my friends, but wanted to put it in writing for anyone who might be in need of such services. You cannot go wrong with them!
