If I could give this storage unit 0 stars I would. We purchased a 10x30 controlled indoor storage unit as we had a number of not only expensive items, but sentimental things stored in our unit that we wanted to make sure were well taken care of. This is one of the most expensive units available. Upon moving out, we discovered our entire unit was literally covered in mouse droppings; every box, every piece of furniture, all over the floor. A $2,500 power recliner leather sofa was part of their “home” and was completely ruined, along with an oriental rug and many items within our boxes. Our movers had to remove dead mice stuck to tape on our boxes for us. If you’re thinking that buying insurance with your unit will protect you, it will not. Within the fine print I found out that the max claim reimbursement for an extermination issue was $500, when we had over $3,000 in damages. I tried working with prime storage (Lorraine) who was initially helpful and pretended to try and help me, until she stopped returning my phone calls and went completely dark. Wonderful customer service. This facility is disgusting, the people here do not care about your belongings, they will lie over and over that they’ve put extermination processes in place that are clearly not working. We had several conversations with other tenants when moving out who all mentioned they had made complaints multiple times and nothing was changed. I cannot stress enough that if you care even remotely about what you are storing, go somewhere else. Our movers mentioned that this was one of the most disgusting storage units they had ever seen. Very unfortunate that there are companies like this that treat their customers and their belongings so poorly.

The virtual office assistant (pictured) experience is awful. Had to wait a while for the “office manager” to show up just to purchase the proprietary locks that they make you use on their units. Key code didn’t work for the gate that I was provided. Office manager, didn’t get his name because he never told me, was finally able to open the gate to let me in. All around an annoying experience to get setup with something that ought to be pretty simple and straight forward.

Upon move in, opened unit to find a bucket of human excrement inside. Had to get another unit. Moved in May 2024. Was notified in July the rent was going up 88% on September 1. Unacceptable. I’ve had many other storage units over the years and have never had rent increased within the first year. I’m glad I moved my items out.

Wow what a great clean place. There are so many dirty storage places in the area and this spot is top notch. Angelina was great assisting me on picking the right sized units to hold my parents items. Thank you

Not happy with Prime storage. I was charged $261 for a 10 ft x 20 ft storage locker for the month of July. I overpaid to start with $224 a month for a 10 ft by 20 ft storage locker. I rent several other 10 ft by 20 ft units in the area the cost me $175 a month. I was told that there was a 5-day grace period for the late fee. I came in on the 5th day and was charged an extra $41 for a late fee did I believe there was some duplicity involved there. Then I was told in August the storage unit is going up another $13 to $237 a month. When I tried to cancel the $3,000 insurance policy I was told I couldn't cancel it without proof of insurance from my insurance company which wasn't originally divulged. I will not rent another unit from Prime storage and I will spread the word among other business men in the area of your duplicious practices
