Such a beautiful area!!! The scenery is spectacular, so green and so many flowers. The lochs are also gorgeous and there are so many! Even the rain was good…a bit of rain and then sunshine, repeatedly. This in turn, made for some amazing rainbows!!!

So much to see and so little time. I come back here again if I could. Be ready to do a lot of driving through windy and be sure to have a map as one can get lost here very easily.

Incredible place to visit! The people are all so friendly and while it is a drive, the drive is gorgeous!! You can see castles, waterfalls, cliffs, lochs, wildlife, lighthouses, gardens, homes…. It really is a magical place. We loved going to see the lighthouse from our base in Portree!

It was an exhilarating experience to visit Isle of Skye last summer. It is beautiful than those nature wallpapers on 90s computers. Every place you visit on this island, you don’t wanna leave.

Definitely the place to go- fresh and full of greens, hiking places as well as cute towns! Not cluttered like the major cities! Didn’t get to do as much hiking due to the rains when I went end of June 2023. I thank my lucky stars for the last minute swap from the hot Madrid to the magical Isle of Skye! Pictures do not do justice, and hope you pick the right time!!
