I was a little hesitant to hire smooth move because of a few “ not the greatest “ reviews but decided to give them a try solely because they were the most affordable, and honestly I’m not one to leave reviews but I always read them before deciding so I thought I would leave one out of respect for the company and the two workers I had Jesus and Hans, they showed up and worked very hard the whole time and it was not an easy move at all as I had so many stairs at least 3 floors worth (which is why I hired a moving company lol). They did an excellent job and were very kind and respectful I would definitely hire them again.

We utilized Smooth Move People for our latest move. The two men who showed up to move us were so friendly and helpful. They made a tough move look easy. They also were easy to communicate with. Thanks for taking good care of our things! We will recommend your services in the future.

This company moved my mid 80's parents from their farm after 50 years to another town over 50 miles away. the movers were very nice and worked very hard but they forgot two book cases in the upstairs rooms. My parents were too exhausted to make the climb upstairs and since the movers told them they got everything they trusted the upstairs was emptied out. the next day or so they realized that the book cases had been missed and asked a couple of grandchildren to haul them down to the front porch for the movers to pick up. The moving company refused to transport the items with out charging another moving fee. I called the owner who also refused. Obviously my parents couldn't move them and because they have very limited income from Social Security we didn't feel right about paying for movers again. Another family member eventually stepped in and hauled the book cases for them. It's frustrating that this company wouldn't stand behind their work and that the $2200 my parents paid to move their furnishings didn't cover the movers mistake. We'll obviously never use them again.

The owner was nice. I have never had movers almost refuse to do a move, because of the way I packed things. The same mover complained about who was paying for my move, which was initially me. Either way- they were being paid- so this mover literally just gave me a hard time- because I was moving out of a hotel into an apartment. Ended up getting my advocate to get the county to pay- through DV services. Either way not a way to be treating someone during a move- let alone a move alone with a baby and dog in tow. They were also an hour late, because the wrong address was taken down, for both locations involved. I didn't give the wrong address. I will probably use this service again. I hope the mover in question is either kinder- or not there the next move.

Absolutely the worst movers ever. They show up after drinking and took out the tree in my back yard. Broke my table and refused to pay for it or the wall they took out. Find anyone but this company.
