Joe and team are fantastic! I called them in quite a state after a different company failed to move my piano down a tight hallway. Smooth Moves asked for video and dimensions to devise a plan (with contingencies!) to get the instrument to its intended location. Extremely fair prices don’t hurt either. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Imagine a beautiful, shiny, baby grand piano. It's a work of art. Especially because your kids stopped playing it years ago, so at this point it's not really a musical instrument, so much as a beautiful, heavy, sculpture. But your kids are out of the house for college, so there's no one to complain if you decide to try picking it back up again, reliving your youth with some rock ballada of the 1990s. Let's do this! And then you buy a new house... Who are you going to trust to move this sculpture safely, quickly, and cost effectively? Smooth Moves Piano Movers of course. They finished our move today and I can't recommend them enough. Super professional and fast, and there wasn't a single moment where I worried about the outcome. And very reasonably priced to boot. Can't recommend them enough. If only they gave piano lessons....

We just had hardwood flooring installed. Prior to the installation, Joe and the crew came over to move the piano safely out of the way of the flooring crew. Today, they returned to put the piano back in its original place. They were very patient and placed the piano perfectly centered in the area where it needed to be. Joe was very responsive, on time, and they do a great job handling expensive pianos! THANK YOU!

I have had them move two pianos for me on two different occasions: my own little spinet and a grand piano for my parents. They were quick and efficient, very courteous, also gentle with the piano and floors. Honestly one of the nicest people and business that I have ever come across. You can also tell that they love pianos!

I cannot rate Smooth Moves highly enough! They were very responsive to my piano moving inquiry and were very reasonably priced. The folks who came to move the piano were very friendly and TREMENDOUSLY knowledgeable. They handled our piano like it was their own. In addition, they appreciated the other instruments we had as well as advised us how long to wait before having the piano tuned (this is our first piano). They also went the extra mile to help better attach a wheel that had come loose (was loose before the piano was moved). Due to all of these factors, I will use them again without hesitation the next time I need a piano moved or refer them to anyone who needs a piano moved!
