Buyer beware. I can't give them zero stars, or I would. We used them to move from Port Charlotte to Punta Gorda. A short trip and should be an easy move, right? We sustained quite a bit of damage and we can't even get a phone call back to discuss. They just ignore us. See the attached pictures. There are more pictures, but you get the idea. Do yourself a favor and find a better outfit.

I have used this company multiple times. Today I had a lovely woman and fantastic gentleman. They were so kind and honestly made my move so simple. The anxiety left when they showed immediately because they showed ready for the job and were so considerate with our items. This is the best company in SW Fl. I promise you won't be dissatisfied if you decide to use them for your move. Thank you again Southern Cross for always proving you are the best in the Cape.

Where do I even begin? We used Southern Cross Moving to pack and move us since we have a six week old newborn. The movers didn’t show up until 10:20am when we were specifically told they’d be there at 9:00am. We didn’t receive a courtesy call, so we had to call the company to ask where the movers were the day of our moving day. Then, our movers told us we didn’t have to stay and that most people don’t while they pack up the house so we could head to our new house, so we did. As we were unpacking, we noticed missing items…16 to be exact. Curtains were left up, they threw away our bathroom garbage can in our kitchen garbage can, picture frames still hanging up, shelves were left on the floor, vacuums were left, plants left were behind and the list goes on and on. I had to make a trip back to our old place to move the remaining items to our new house. When I reached out to the owner, Greg, he agreed upon giving us a partial refund since the job we paid his team to do was not completed. He stopped communicating with us for days then sent us a very unprofessional response back on multiple occasions. I’ve never worked with someone so disrespectful towards paying customers before in my life. We still, to this day, have not received our promised and agreed upon partial refund. I HIGHLY encourage you to look elsewhere for a moving company!! Update after the owners response: I sent him pictures of all 16 items and can provide them on here for your reference. I don’t appreciate being spoken to that way as I’m a paying customer, exactly why I would never recommend you to anybody for moving! I have never received any statement saying you’re going to send us a check, I don’t appreciate being lied to. Especially to make yourself look good on a public review for them. You’ve also been reported to the Better Business Bureau in hopes no one experiences what my husband and I have!

Greg and his team moved me from Cape Coral, Fl to Cleveland Georgia and did an excellent job and were very efficient. I had some minor damage but he took care Immediately. I would highly recommend Southern Cross moving for either local or long distance moving.

My Movers canceled on me Thursday night late for a move that was happening the next day on Friday two hours away from where I live. Not only did Southern Cross step in and pick up the slack where the other Movers had ditched me, but last minute they did an exceptional job for my in-state, but long-distance move. Theo, the team LEAD and his crew were incredible. It was a very complicated move, needing to first go to a storage facility and empty it out, which filled a 26 foot truck, But then they took that storage facility to my house, and put it inside of a single bay garage. They packed up the house and prepared to bring me the furniture the next day on Friday. When they got to the new house two hours away, they first had a disassemble several rooms of furniture, move it around into different rooms, reassemble and also reload furniture back on the truck to head to Ft. Myers as we were doing a swap, in addition to a move. There was nothing but professionalism and smiles. I was never once meant to feel like this was any kind of burden or challenge. They literally saved me an incredible amount of stress, thinking that I was not gonna be able to to complete my move. Theo and his crew were just absolutely amazing! Bravo, Southern Cross Moving , bravo!
