After doing a ton of research and interviewing several different moving companies, we settled on Southern Moving & Storage for our move from NJ to NC this past June. Our salesperson, Jimmy, was patient and thorough with answering all of our questions. We felt reassured from our initial conversation right through move day. His communication was excellent. Our movers, Zach and Kevin were also terrific. Patient, polite, communicative and most importantly, careful with our belongings, we were very pleased with their service. They were equally attentive and careful on the unload end in Wilmington. All in all, we were very pleased with our choice to go with Southern and highly recommend!

Excellent excellent excellent experience with this company! Great experience with the main office, great customer service. The guys (Matt R and Ryan) were amazing. They were very professional, careful with our items. We have never had a company wrap items as well put floor and wall protectors down as well or anywhere close. They were very energetic, did not waste any time, as well as being very kind and friendly. Really way to many GREAT things to say about our experience. One more thing though...they were also the least expensive. Highly highly recommend this company. Olivia and Jeff Davis

This company damaged our $3000 couch, $1800 leather recliner, $400 hall tree and list a ladder and blower and charged $6500 for moving and storage just 1 1/2 away…They have not replaced our things and after 3 weeks we continue to have to run them down. I asked for an Owner to come or at least call me…”crickets”. This company should be prosecuted for their negligence and non-caring actions. We have filed and filled out forms and continue to try and contact them and no one has done what they said they would. This company very unprofessional!

From start to finish Southern Moving was perfect!!!! Suzanne handled my initial quote and questions. She was awesome! Then anytime I called with additional questions the staff was so nice to speak to explaining things to me. The move was exceptional!!!!! Jordan, Brian, and Marcus handled our move. They were courteous, so sweet to my dog, and very detailed with questions and how to handle some of our things. Kept us updated on the their travel and times. My mother told the movers if she can have them and only them for her future moves!!!! They were amazing. I honestly cannot say enough great things about them and the company. We have even unpacked and nothing was damaged or broke! Highly recommend them for all your moves.
