Spoke to this lady who immediately got my information down and not even 3 minutes later do I get a call from the manager himself. He listened to my issue and stayed in contact. He was very fast!! If you're like me, you're probably reading this because you're moving and looking for the best movers for you and your situation. You're reading as many reviews as you can hoping to make an overwhelming, worrisome situation just a little bit easier. So my situation may be different from yours, for context my fiance and I needed to drive 1500 miles from California to Texas. We needed someone to load an entire house in a 26' truck. Like most of you have or are in the process of doing I fielded many offers from different companies and I got in contact with Lee from Speedwell. He gave me an excellent offer but what sold me was how we was extremely open and honest and he didn't mind answering all the questions I had because I just like to know what the process will be. We agreed on a time and a day and the move began. Phase one: The day of the move Lee and his team consisting of Billy, Josh and Patrick arrived on time. Immediately they got to work. The one thing I liked about Lee and the movers is they were very honest and kept me and my fiance involved. They gave us suggestions and advice. They were very efficient. When they loaded the first room and secured it my fiance was amazed how little room they used for so many items. She was worried the truck wouldn't be big enough to carry all her stuff but when she saw that she smiled and I think it was then that she realized it was going to happen. The entire team worked extremely well together. Each member had their role and worked efficiently. They disassembled a lot of things and were able to occupy every nook and cranny within the truck. They arranged things in ways I never thought possible. These people have a vision and are very good at what they do. They finished well within the time frame Lee had suggested. All of the time I can't stress how much I appreciated them communicating with my fiance and I asking us questions that would benefit us. They never assumed anything. All in all they were able to fit everything from the house into the truck with room to spare. Phase two: Sure, they could pack everything in a truck, but could it withstand a 1500 mile drive? I told my fiance it's very possible some stuff breaks and to not be upset if it did. We drove the truck and because we're not professionals we may have took turns a little too fast, hit pot holes we couldn't avoid, broke too hard, you know, the things amateurs like me would do. In fact I didn't even want to check on the stuff during the drive. I feared I would open the back door and everything would fall out. Well, when we got to the new house and opened the door, nothing moved and if it did you couldn't even tell. They did a great job. I was beyond impressed. I was truly amazed. I was sure stuff would be all over the place but it wasn't, it safe and secure exactly where it was when we left. Phase three: Even though they loaded it, we still needed to be able to unload it. So if it was packed in such a way that made it hard to unload it would be more work. Well, no surprise it was easy to unload. Lee and his crew did an outstanding job. We hired movers to help us unload and they said this was one of the best loading jobs they'd seen. They were impressed how secure and organized everything was. This allowed the unloading crew to finish much faster than they anticipated. All in all Lee and his crew made a very stressful situation so much easier to bear. My fiance was feeling the stress more than me so she's extremely appreciative. The amount of professionalism, honesty, respect, integrity and work ethic each member displayed is truly admirable. It's so hard to find honest hard working people sometimes but I've at least found four more with Lee, Patrick, Billy and Josh. Thank you all.

This was the first time that we have used movers. It seems our age and health have caught up with us. The movers were hard workers. We had packed a great deal of items but there was still a lot to do. Moving a very large antique desk was no problem for them. The downside? In bringing in the fridge two holes were torn in the linoleum. It didn't seem fair that they didn't bring food so we bought them lunch, Finally, a recommendation that we will follow next time: number the boxes. It took me two weeks to discover that my silverware, Nook, And most of our grandchildren pictures weren't here. Had I numbered the boxes I would have known if anything was missing immediately.

The first time in our life we needed a moving company to help us move from California to Florida. We searched for months for a moving company we would feel comfortable. We needed to not only move out of our storage in California, we were looking for a company that can hold all our belonging about 200 boxes until we were ready to receive them in Florida. We finally found a company called “speedwellmovers” in Lancaster, CA. The entire transaction was handled by an amazing man by the name of Lee Paxson. Lee and his team moved us out of our storage, moved us in to their storage facility in Lancaster, ca. Several months later when we purchased a home, we were ready for our boxes. Lee’s company is associated with National Van Lines. I got a call from Lee saying Matthew Murphy has picked up all our boxes in a BIG 18-Wheeler, we will get a call from Matthew. WOW! To our surprise, Matthew called to say he would be at our house by 7am on a certain day, Matthew was there on time. We couldn’t believe our eyes, Matthew by himself unloaded everything and some boxes upstairs, some went to the garage, some in bedrooms. Matthew also made sure the tracking sheet was called out so we know what we gave to Lee is delivered to us in Florida. This is like a dream, working with speedwellmovers (Lee Paxson) and National Van Lines (Matthew Murphy).

They estimate all the possibilities given higher moving cost, yet they charge very less compared to estimated. Everyone came early and moved all the stuff in a very short time.
