Terrible Experience - No Compassion or Understanding! I had a terrible experience with Split Second Towing while my family and I were in the middle of moving, they towed my in-laws' car without any consideration for the situation we were in. We tried to explain that we were actively moving and needed the vehicle, but they showed absolutely no compassion or flexibility and towed the car away with my boxes and all. Instead of being reasonable, they seemed more interested in making a quick buck than helping people in a stressful situation. The fees were outrageous, and the customer service was cold and dismissive. It’s one thing to enforce rules, but another to completely disregard people who are clearly going through a tough time. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They made an already stressful day much worse, Beware!

since when does tow trucks park in handicap parking spots to go shopping . Pasco folks, this guy was at Wal-mart on Little Rd. and 19. I understand tow trucks having SOME leeway when getting stuck vehicles out of harms way, but he was shopping, had a load of groceries he was loading into the front seat. Wanna guess who I will NEVER use?

Lake Kathy apartments has hired this company to tow vehicles from their parking lot. Apparently he was in such a hurry to get back and find some more victims in the middle of the day, that he needed to fly through the Circle K parking lot on the corner. Almost hitting my son. I'm sure they tow enough people to be able to follow safe or even decent practices to do just fine, but would rather not.

The money hungry thieves basically took my vehicle with my resident pass displaying inside of my window. They also messed the front end of my bumper and my brakes were scrubbing during this unlawful towing after I recently just purchased, witness has confirmed to me how they seen my vehicle being missed handled and how difficult the tow was for the driver so that explains why my brakes were locked and scrubbing.

My friend and I were sitting in my car talking after a movie at AMC Gibsonton on 5/14/24 and this guy from Splitsecond Towing showed up and hooked up to tow her car away from right next to us. I jumped out immediately and said "yo we're right here" but he made her pay $80 to him personally via CashApp (not to the towing company) in order to let the car down so she could drive it. That, or else pay $300 to retrieve it at the tow yard. He said it's because she wasn't physically sitting in the car. No one from AMC security or any police, etc. came by to say we couldn't be parked there. Didn't see any signs posted. We immediately said we're here with the car and more than willing to leave. What kind of predatory scam is this? He drives around looking for cars to tow, and pockets $80? Employee Brandon, license plate BJ30AQ.
