I hope I have the right company -- S & R Trucking. If not, I will gladly delete: S & R TRUCKING NIGHTMARE SITUATION! We've been in our own "Nightmare before Christmas" and it's still ongoing after 4 weeks with no running water in our kitchen, very few cabinets and counters, no sink, no disposal, no dishwasher and no flooring - all removed. S & R sent out two nice gentlemen. We had good communication about their arrival, however when they arrived, their paperwork did not show that our Dishwasher also came with free installation. They seemed perplexed. I implored them to call their manager because we had been promised FREE INSTALLATION. They looked at each other and said, "We will take care of you ma'am." I asked, "Do you normally do the dishwasher installs?" And they said, that "yes, we do". They installed the dishwasher. I even bought them a $30. lunch to thank them for doing what we had been told would be done. Somehow the dishwasher was not installed properly. As a result, WE HAVE NO FUNCTIONAL KITCHEN all due to an improperly installed Dishwasher that was screwed into our countertop, causing it to bulge, then crack, and a dishwasher that was not leveled and stuck out, leaning forward when they were done. Unfortunately we didn't notice until they were gone. The dishwasher began giving us Error Codes and it's Alarm went off during the first load of dishes. It would not stop. We had to turn off the breaker to that part of the kitchen. We called. We were promised someone would come from RXO / S & R Trucking within 3-8 days. No one came - they texted me that they had cancelled the appointment. 5 days later, we noticed our floor was buckling. My husband pulled out the dishwasher to discover it had been flooding over the past 5 days and the damage was extensive. He wet-dry vac'd the water up, and put fans on the damaged area of the kitchen. He has been SICK ever since he did that. Despite our immediate calls for help, dozens of hours on the phone, false promises....and now over 100 pages of documentation on all of the run-around we've been put through, NO ONE has come out to inspect, re-install, repair, or evaluate our situation. Only finger pointing and passing blame. When I call the number for S & R - there are children's voices in the background and the woman I speak with seems distracted and not very interested in hearing what we are going through. We have received estimates for the repairs needed. So far there is only unwillingness to accept responsibility. Based on a disaster company's estimate this $600 dishwasher is now going to cost us a total "pack out / pack in", and tear out of our kitchen, living room and dining room. A removal of all the continuous flooring on our main living room, dining room, and kitchen - months of disruption, and a minimum of $35,000. to repair and restore our home!!! My husband is tired of being sick. We're tired of not having a kitchen, tired of washing dishes in the bathtub. Tired of working on this issue instead of being at work earning a living! Tired of fast food. I'm tired of migraines, sleepless nights, plywood floors, etc. AND.... I'm EXHAUSTED with S & R's disinterest in our situation, and their insurance agent (Progressive) not returning calls. We had to cancel all Christmas events and plans with children and grandchildren in Arizona. We cannot cook or use our kitchen. We have had to take a ton of time away from work, and are EXHAUSTED with endless time on the phone trying to get someone to take responsibility for this NIGHTMARE.
