I found this company online. Mixed reviews, but there are some good ones, so I called. They were nice, friendly, and seemed trustworthy. Do not be fooled like me. We worked through our house, got a contract, and locked in the price with a $1500 deposit. I felt uneasy that night so I began researching. After researching their DOT number, I learned they are brokers, not movers. This means they do not own trucks and do your move. I didn't like that, so I canceled according to the contracts stipulations... written within 72 hours to receive 90% of the deposit back. It has now been months and they are non-responsive and have not returned the money. Please do yourself a favor and stay away. Find a company that is a mover so that way the person on the phone is also the same company that will be moving your stuff. Don't fall for this scam like me. If I can turn one person away from this company I will be happy I took the time to share my story.

READ THE CONTRACT! I will never work with this company or another broker ever again. Hired them to move our stuff across country. They provided a quote, and a tentative pickup date. They rescheduled the pickup 3 times, pushing us out 4 weeks! The movers they outsourced and quoted us an entirely different price at pickup. The took our stuff in the opposite direction to a warehouse where it sat for 4 months! They refused delivery and told me that if I wanted my stuff I would have to go get it. During those 4 months, when I would call for an update, they would put me on hold and never pick up. Promise to call me back and never do. They were rude and passed me around from rep to rep with no updates and no help. They lied about their owner. I am almost positive if you did enough research, the positive views below are all paid for! But that is just a guess based on their lies and deceitful ways to get your money! Read the contract!! They get away with this because their deliveries are estimates only with NO TIME delivery. They can hold your stuff as long as they want and they will!!!!

This company standard van lines is phenomenal. I had a urgent move coming from Texas to Oregon due to a job relocation and I contacted standard van lines to move me. They gave me a great rate to where I didn’t brake my bank and followed up with a outstanding service. When it came time for me to call them for questions they were always right there to answer the phone. Highly recommend them for anyone who has to move.

I love this company! The owner, Johnson, was very friendly. The workers arrived right on time. They were also friendly and super-efficient. They completed my whole moving process in less than two hours. I would strongly recommend Standard Van Lines for their excellent service!

This was terrifying, we lost a loved one from covid and had to move the belongings to another state. We had used another company In the past and they are no longer in business. Standard Van Lines hooked us up with an affordable rate and fast service. Scott is my guy, ask for him, and you are in good hands.
