My two movers were great! Everything thing was handled professionally, but the guys were kind and easy going. This moving company was upfront about their pricing and the estimate I was given was exactly right. I have some physical limitations so having my move go smoothly was very reassuring. I believe one of the men was Gerald, and I can't remember the other young man's name. They were super!

A driver who had only been with the company for 2 days hit me with a box truck and totaled my car, my 2 year old was with me at the time. I had a hard time in the beginning trying to contact their insurance agency. So I called their local office and the person I spoke with was suppose to relay my information to his insurance so we can get the claim started. Well… he gave them completely wrong information two days after he told me he already got it to them. Then before I was able to get in contact with his insurance, he ghosted me for several days. I was finally able to speak with their insurance who thinks I’m an idiot and tried deceiving me in every way possible. I got a lawyer because I don’t have time to deal with their bullshit.

Great moving experience with Dustin. We only had a few items that needed to be taken across state lines. They were able to load up in less than 15 minutes and arrived at the second destination on time. Helpful, efficient, professional and friendly.

*UPDATE 8/30/24-OWNER ignored my complaint letter for 3 months about over charging me, damaged items and late delivery! He contacted me several days ago ONLY because of the effects of this negative Google review! He left me message saying he "wanted to make it right" so we spoke on the phone for a long time. NO apology! He just kept asking me to delete my review! He assured me that he would contact me within *24 HOURS* with an offer to "make it right" but ONLY if I deleted my review. I agreed to consider what he had to say. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN!! He doesn't care about good customer service! He only cares about removing painfully honest reviews that hurt his future business!! This is the OWNER deliberately lying/misleading his customers again! BEWARE!! *SEPT 2024: Owner contacted me after seeing review update, again made NO real offer to make it right. I said I'm not wasting my time with dis-honorable companies/people, he said he was trying to be honorable but THEN blamed ME for affecting his income with my honest review, where I lost thousands of dollars!! On what planet is VICTIM blaming honorable!! I'm DONE!!! I was charged $2,500 more than estimate!! (They had no explanation why it weighed so much more than estimate even after we significantly eliminated many more items before moving day) Several items were damaged. We waited *10 days* for our items to be delivered because they were fitting several other families items in same truck. Every item was taken apart & had to be put back together taking hours extra on both ends of trip. Boxes stacked 5-8 boxes high in truck (so they can fit more families on same truck) causing bottom boxes to buckle. Shipping cars was very unprofessional, terrible communication and also took 3 days longer than we were told, costing hundreds more in car rental fees while waiting! They could NOT care LESS about anything that happened when I spoke to them. NEVER AGAIN!! This move was BAD on so many levels! Only positive thing was movers themselves were very friendly, very experienced, good communication, worked hard & got the job done. (Except some items were damaged)

Guys did a great jobs. Done within budget and estimate. No surprises move went smoothly and carefully. Three guys moved upright piano out of basement and then to our home. Would definitely use Straight Line Moving again.
