Joseph was a great help today, I walked in seeking a unit, looking to move out of another company soon( June 1st). He explained everything very well, easy to talk to and gave me the breakdown of pricing and availability. I appreciate that he is friendly and wants to give the best to his tenants, hope he is here to stay.

Horrible claims to be climate controlled at 96* degree's, unprofessional communication skills, got evicted after asking about the temperature, and after dripping sweat from moving stuff in, rinsed my hair in bathroom. Got evicted ridiculous..

It's a clean facility, easy to get to, and appears to be well run. Note that you must have renter's insurance, or they will charge an additional $13/month for the smallest storage space. I was a little annoyed to find this out at the very end of the process. To his credit, the service rep was patient while I went online and bought a renter's insurance policy for $5/month.

This is an awesome place if you're looking to have your storage unit burglarized! In April 2022, I had $14k+ worth of merchandise stolen from my unit. I was storing expensive bike parts for a business I was starting at this location. Thanks to West Coast Self-Storage, they made sure that I wouldn't be able to get my business started. Even with all of the cameras installed and footage of the thieves taking my things, there was nothing that could be done except file a report with SJPD (which did absolutely nothing!) The tops of the storage units on the 2nd floor are entirely exposed. So, if someone is crafty, they can walk on the beams above the storage units and look down into them to see what's available. This event felt like an inside job, to be honest. My storage unit was neatly organized and had tons of space for walking around inside. If you look at the pictures, you can see that they threw everything around. (This looked very much like they staged that!) The thieves used a drill to remove the barrel lock and replaced it with another similar version. When I was bringing my stuff into this location, I was either watched by the employees OR a tenant. The storage company said it was a tenant. if that is or was the case, why was nothing done then!!! Not only was $14k worth of items stolen, but they also got a riffle. So, this is awesome. There's another firearm on the street! During this situation, I will say that I was completely irritated with the site manager that had the nerve to try and give some philosophical perspective. Saying something to the effect of "maybe this is a sign of when you have too much stuff"... I'm not going to name her name, but wow, really! Sooo folks, come on over to the indoor facility here at West Coast Self-Storage where people can have carte blanche to your belongings without any ramifications. Another pro-tip that the site manager gave me was "make sure to cover your stuff when coming in." I get being aware of your surroundings and taking precautions, but I came to this location because I thought it was safe to store my things. I had no idea this was like entering a jail system where all eyes are on you soon as you bring your things in.

Everyone is really friendly and helpful. Been at West Coast Self-Storage for about 2 years and I know my stuff is safe there.
