First off, I want to say the movers on the day of delivery were wonderful. This has nothing to do with the delivery or the gentlemen who moved everything into my home. The moving company themselves doesn't care to keep your items safe and secure. I moved a couple different bedroom sets during this move, and two of my dressers came back damaged along with a dining room table they completely ruined. They had scrape marks on them, nearly all the legs had splintered wood. The gentlemen who delivered my items were the ones that pointed it out to me. The gentlemen stated that the movers on the day of delivery must have placed too much weight on top of the dressers causing the wood to splinter and the legs to become wobbly. I took notes on everything they said so that I had accurate information to put on the claim. I took pictures and sent in a claim for compensation so that I could either replace or repair the damages. However, Suddath refused to pay for one of the dressers, claiming it was a "duplicate item". I replied with more videos and photos of the damages as well as a photo showing there are two separate dressers. They claim the photos are identical so they must be the same item. The photos were NOT identical! They only look similar due to the dressers being bought as a set so they are of similar structure, design, and color. Despite sending all this information, they ignored my emails and refused to offer any sort of compensation for the item. I'm in the process of escalating the situation now. I do not recommend this company for moves that involve furniture that you are unwilling to have damaged. Their customer service is nearly nonexistent as well. I reviewed their homepage in order to submit a review however, there is no way to submit a review on their website. They simply take good reviews and post them to their site giving the perception that they actually do a good job. Find someone else, it's not worth the time trying to hold them responsible for their work.

We had an initial great experience with Suddath but when the move came they didn't have enough people and my husband had to do a lot of the work. They also didn't label all of our stuff so we didn't get our full shipment and much of it was damaged. This was in addition to the move being late arriving at the destination. Would not recommend.

We recently moved from Seattle area to St. Pete, Fl. There were definitely cheaper local options for the move, but online reviews didn't make me feel confident. I went with Suddath and United, and was pleased with their customer service throughout entire moving process. I've moved cross country several times, and dread the industry hassles. However, Suddath left a very positive impression. The cost was significantly higher, but in the end, it was peace of mind. Even when the truck was 2-3 days late cross country, Suddath processed the claim immediately, without hassle. Communication from Teri and her team was extremely helpful, timely, consistent, and they would call me without me having to call them about anything. They were on it from the beginning, including a very friendly and accurate estimator using an online video survey. Perfect. I am pleasantly surprised at the customer service on the phone, and the two teams loading and receiving, as well. Professional demeanor from everybody, even the hard working contractors that loaded- very customer focused and friendly- and problem solvers. I highly recommend Suddath team- makes the extra cost worth it.

From the onset of our relocation through to our recent delivery, we have been very well cared for by the Suddath team. The delivery team were prompt, professional, and extremely courteous throughout the two days they worked delivering our household goods. Our goods arrived in great condition and were placed throughout our home as we requested. These men worked tirelessly, carefully, and safely for both days. We had to move our entire theater on a tight deadline. (Our new landlord finally confirmed with us at the last minute.) Suddath gave us a quote on Thursday and started the move at 8 a.m. Friday, amazingly finishing late that afternoon. They worked fast and hard but carefully.
