The owner does not care what so ever about his employees. They made up sorry excuses for deductions to completely take away my entire last check I was to receive. 1000 dollars to 0 because they are petty people with no remorse or a heart for a hard working man with a family. Do not work here if you are a hard working man with a family like myself. They will run you into the ground all day n night n not blink n eye. They do not care at all. And there is no over time. They pay $200 a day which sounds nice but they make you work 14 to 15 hour shift . Driving to Houston in a daycab without ac. Most they're trucks can't even pass DOT regulations at most. Worst employment experience I've ever had.

My love & respect for the owner & manager as human beings aside; this is respectively a professional review. Company claims to not be OTR, but they will run you like OTR at 14 to 16 hrs a day (6-7 days) if you let them. They claim a legal DOT deal to run you 16 hrs a day, but that regulation is for special Relief Aid situations, such as FEMA, Feed The Children, etc…SureXpress does NOT qualify for this legal exception! They CONSISTANTLY violate DOT laws. Twice while working for them I received a fleet wide text advising drivers to avoid weigh stations during the DOT Inspection sweep weeks. When your truck has a DOT issue, they advise you to bypass weigh stations – instead of just fixing the issue. In addition to ignoring DOT protocol, they expect you to drive trucks that are clearly not safe to drive. To reiterate other reviews, I’ve read, I am surprised they are still in business. Perhaps because they use intimidation tactics & will tell you to your face when you quit that they will throw you under the bus if you use them as a reference – regardless of the reason for leaving – even if it is medical, as was my case. One review I read labeled them as work place bullies – to a certain degree I would have to agree, although I don’t believe that is their intention. But then when was it ever any bully’s intention to consciously be a bully? When I was in CDL school they warned us about these type of LLC companies – I thought they were exaggerating, but now I realize they were dead serious… Working for SureXpress was ultimately a nightmare I never care to repeat…

The worst company in this kind of business. Slavery working conditions! This kind of business should not be allowed. Very long hours, a lot of driving, many stops, heavy lifting and a lot responsibility for Minimal pay( if they pay) you will find out after 2 weeks. The whole place is like twilght zone!!!

For one of our deliveries, they said our office was closed and took the package back to their office. The problem was we we're NOT closed, we had 5 cars in the small parking lot right by the front door. It was brought to their attention before noon but they said they wont redeliver until Monday.
