Updates: eventually after I complained to the manager they agreed to replace the tire with no charge, which saved their reputation. Changing to three stars since the manager is reasonable and solved the long argument. I purchased the car at this dealership one year ago and did the 15k miles maintenance today. On my way back home after pickup the car, the tire went flat completely though the maintenance report from the dealership said everything was great. And it is after hour so I cannot reach the dealership for help. My previous experiences with this dealership were great, not sure what went wrong this time but I am very disappointed. In addition, I realized that they may have installed the tire pressure sensor wrong. The rear left tire is the one went flat, but the sensor shows the front left is having problems and the rear left is good. Updates: the second day I went to the dealership asking them to fix it, they said the tire needed to be replaced and asked me to buy a new one for $300+, which was $220 at Costco.

Since I purchased my car in 2018, I’ve done all my services here at Magnussen’s Toyota Palo Alto! I specifically highly recommend you asking for Octavio in the service department. Great customer service, very friendly and knowledgeable! He always keeps you up to date with and throughout the process. What I appreciate the most is that he always answers any and all of my questions. He has always been transparent with the services being done to my vehicle and what I can expect regarding specific mileage maintenance, etc. so that I never get blindsided. Magnussen’s Toyota of Palo Alto has been good to me! Would highly recommend!

This is best Toyota service center in the Bay Area. I’ve wrote a good reviews years back before the pandemic. I’m still taking all my Toyota Vehicles here. All the service advisors are great but I definitely go to Randall when he is available. He’s been my service advisor for several years. He’s very knowledgeable and informative about the service being performed. I feel confident that all my questions are answered. Thank you Randall!

They almost always attempt to try and overcharge you and claim you need some type of service that you don’t need. Make sure you look over what you are paying for and ask them specifically about it if you have any suspicions. For example: I prepaid for both sun visors and they attempted to only install one and charge me again for the one. I had my car fully serviced and checked by a different Toyota shop about a few months ago, they have this on record and attempted to preform the exact same service “checks” which should not be done in this short of time. They do have some helpful workers there (not everyone is trying to scam you) but make sure you double check what you are paying for.

EVERYONE on the sales floor was terrific. They made a total effort to get us a deal we could accept. New to EV, they even help with charging the vehicle and learning its features. We had agreed on a total price, including a rescission contract. When we got to the final step with the financing assoc., she told us the rescission contract was not included in the agreed price. She basically said that it didn’t matter what the sales staff agreed to, the final arrangement was up to her! After such exceptional service, we were disheartened that the last step was with a person who made us uncomfortable and upset.
