*Please Read* It took me 2 months to get my mobile home moved due to bad weather but through all the chaos and set backs John always kept in touch to reassure me that he's a man of his word and as soon as the land dry up enough he'll be able to do the job. On moving day John and his movers was there 7am sharp they beat me to my property and I knew that day would be a great day. I want to thank Taylor Mobile Home Movers for their patience, knowledge, and professionalism because they get the job done accurately and safely. Your friend from Turbeville to Effingham.

Mr. John Taylor was amazing and his two men working for him! I waited months to get my mobile home moved due to the rain and he had to come thru a field to get up my dirt road but the finest work you'll ever find! Trust worthy, hard worker, very honest and the best of all RELIABLE!! If I could give home 10 stars Taylor's Mobile Home Service deserves it! I tried to get a few different movers to give me estimates but no one would call me back and they kept changing the price over the phone. Taylors never changed his price. He always kept in touch with us to let us know how the progress was going. When the day came they worked all day to get it set up. Not one single thing in the house (like tile) was broken. Highly disappointed in the service of this “company.” First Spoke with Mr. John, now, almost a month ago and asked to have a mobile home moved. Called and he stated that he wouldn’t have time or space to do my request because he had other “bigger” jobs to handle first. I understood that and gave it no worry. He then told Me if he did do the job that it would HAVE to be on a Saturday. Which sounded perfect because I’m off from the hospital on Weekends. First he gave me THREE different prices for the job to get done. I was told 2,500 for setting up then I was told 1,690 for setting it up, then I was told $960 just for a “drop & pull.” I stuck with the “drop & pull.” I kept him up to date with my plans as far as obtaining a permit for the home to be moved and also checking his availability to make sure there are no issues. I called him one day and he stated for me to call him on THANKSGIVING after 3PM, yes, Thanksgiving. So I waited for thanksgiving and called, no answer. Called him again around 9:00pm, no answer, but he returned my call a few minutes later to tell me that he now DOES not want to move the mobile home because he won’t make as much money as he would if he actually has to set the home up. He said the final price for the “drop & pull” is now a flat 2,000... after I’ve already gotten the permit Wednesday afternoon, the Day before Thanksgiving. I’ve got his name on the permit, his address, and he changed his mind at the VERY last minute. I’ve been focused on giving him money for the move and he wasted my entire time the whole month of Nov. SUCH HORRIBLE BUSINESS. I lost hours at work because I rushed to get everything He & I NEEDED for the move, just to have it cancelled against my wishes. I will never recommend this “company” to ANYONE. EVER. I wish I could give it a 0 rating instead of that 1 star. He deserves none of it.
