After years in this industry, you learn who is here to make a quick buck and who is in this to grow and run a great trucking company. LaValle is the latter. First time working with Dustin at LaValle but I HOPE it won't be the last because they were extremely professional and even gave me a discount after I advised I was taking a loss but that they were going to get the load anyways. STAND UP PEOPLE AT THIS COMPANY!

Driver was at pickup since 7am from IN to Mevlvindale, MI. Kept saying they will be loaded in a few. That 'few' turned into hours. We spoke to dispatch and told them to recover because we needed the truck to run directly and there was no way of getting offloaded if the shipper stays at the same pace as they have been. They reassured us on various phone calls that they are working on it. Weren't provided with any point of contact as far as who they spoke to at consignee to arrange this after hours offload. 4pm comes and they said he should be loaded shortly, mind you our driver was running short on hours. When asking about compensation they said "let's just cancel this freight, we are going to send over a TONU." Asking about compensation on a load to look out for our driver- where is the wrong in asking? Shipper then refused to offload our truck because he told driver he needed this freight out of his warehouse. It being 4pm we decided to stay on the load they reassured us we would get offloaded, which we did after dealing with who we believe is the account Manager MIKE. He was very rude with us and upset because he was running late for daughter's graduation. You should never mix emotion into business. Absolutely the worst experience in transportation we've had. Today when following up with detention pay they said we contacted the customer( shipper ) and that that is beyond unacceptable behavior. Ridiculous excuse to take advantage of a carrier. DO NOT USE !
