Wonderful experience with The Family Movers, as they carefully packed up our house (173 boxes) in one day! Extremely organized packing with meticulous record keeping, and timely communication. Our international move out process was smooth with no stress, exceeding all expectations. Highly highly recommend!

The Family Movers are awesome. I've had a really good pre to post experience, from Switzerland to Singapore. Sandeep, the manager handling my account will constantly update me on the shipment movement, on-time response. The team that delivers were awesome!, friendly and extremely helpful. They take note of defects before and after, tape the areas to protect the walls, staircase, corners etc. Highly recommended moving service.

Updates - Sep 2024: The Family Movers reached out to me and offered their sincere apologies, they acknowledged the shortcoming of their staff and agreed that their staff could be more attentive and proactive in issue handling. ************************************************** Based on my experience, Family Movers might not be the expert in international moves. Although I can understand that they rely a lot on their logistic partners when come to destination delivery, they come short in handling their logistic partner and they are not keen to help resolving issue with their logistic partner. They might let you fend off their logistic partner by yourself. If you have questions, you likely be expected to liaise directly with their logistic partners. In my case, they did not step in to help with any clarification with thier logistic partner, even after I asked them to. When their logistic partner informed of additional fees, their first reply is to pass on the cost to the customers, without understanding the nature or the validity of fees. In my case, Family Mover expected me to pay their logistic partner for carrying boxes to the second floor of my house. However, in their invoice, the exclusion of quotation is "delivery above second floor", not to the second floor. I did challenge the Family Movers team about the fee, but they insisted that delivery to the second floor fits the exclusion of "delivery above second floor". 🤔🤔🤔 The issue only got resolved after I insisted that I want to connect with their management. A senior manager reviewed my case and confirmed that the fee should be billed to them instead. It was not a pleasant customer experience given they charged me more than SGD 10k for the move. I will not recommend Family Movers for international moves to my friends.

I had an excellent experience with The Family Movers. It was an international move from Singapore back to the US. It had the added complication that we needed to store our things in their Singapore warehouse for 15 months, and then have it shipped back to the US after we knew where we would be living longer term. Everything worked just fine. The packing in Singapore was done very well (as in carefully). The labelled the boxes well and did a good job on the inventory list. Their arrangements with the overseas partner worked out just fine. The crew that did the final delivery to our house in the US was excellent. So all in all, we were very satisfied and things were good. A giant thanks to Maurice Chong, Gina Mendoza and Devanshi Kushwah at Family movers (in Singapore) and to Christina Borges on the US side (with PTS, Paramount Transportation Systems). It all worked seamlessly.

From start to finish dealing with Family Movers has been a joy. They were extremely informative and patient explaining all the steps. Their team who came to pack were so fast & tidy. I would happily recommend Family Movers.
