UNRELIABLE!! company cancelled less than 24 hrs before job. I selected this company through U-Haul to load U-Box for relocation. Payment was made accordingly. I never heard from anyone. I tried multiple times the week prior to the move to confirm, did not get a return call. Finally, the day before the move, the manager at U -Haul was able to make contact only to be told they would not be showing up, and gave no explanation of why they were cancelling. Fortunately a company out of Hagerstown Md, Safe Care Moving, agreed to do the 2 hrs trip to Altoona to load the PODS. This company was fantastic, call them! AVOID FERRIS MOVING COMPANY

The Ferris Moving Company was a joy to work with from start to finish. Because of a last-minute change in our closing date, we only had a few days in which to make our moving arrangements. I called around to a few companies for availability and quotes, and Ferris Moving was the most professional and had the best rate. I really appreciate their online system, which shows you exactly how the cost breaks down so there are no surprises. When the team arrived just as planned for the move, they were polite and hard-working. They took great care of our belongings and tackled a few trickier jobs, including disassembling and reassembling 2 beds. I would definitely recommend these movers to anyone looking for reliable and affordable help with a move. Thanks for everything, guys!

Excellent service. The guys showed up in the expected time frame and did the job without complaint. They were extremely professional, curious, and accountable. They disclosed that a dress drawer accidentally dropped when I was not there to see it. It received minor scuffs and they gave me a discount on the extra hours for it. They also got our hot tub moved into a difficult destination again without complaint. Very professional they had all their forms in order and documents signed definitely not a fly by night moving company. If I were to move again I would definitely use these guys again.
