I can't say enough good things about this company. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I'm moving my detail shop and had to purchase a new air compressor. I purchased an Ingersoll Rand SS5 60 gallon tank. I arrived at TSC 8am August 14 to pick it up. Here they come with the compressor on a forklift. I immediately knew I was in trouble. The TSC employee Tony told me that Fireman Moving Company had moved some gun safes for them. I immediately got them on the line and within 30 minutes Claire and Bonita had me one the schedule for delivery today. Which was fantastic because today was the first day that my electrician was on-site. The two young men that delivered it were very young but two of the finest young men that I have been around in a long time. They had a little trouble with the palette jack but the word quit was not in their vocabulary. Can't say enough good things about this company. I highly highly recommend them and will most definitely use them for any moving needs that I have in the future.

The booking process was easy, and there were no surprise fees at the end. I was given a thorough quote within a few hours of requesting one. After my review, I approved it and then paid the deposit (for me was something like $175). The movers arrived at our scheduled time. After everything was done I was sent the rest of the invoice. Each cost was clearly spelled out so there were no surprises there which was nice. Invoices were easy to pay online.

So right before this weekend, I assisted with a move. And previously I have used The Fireman Moving Company. At that time apart from the receptionist being rude and demeaning to me on the phone I had an overall decent experience with their company. Therefore, I recommend this company to her and she booked them to help move her out of her apartment. Upon the two movers arrival, one of the movers already had an attitude right out of the gate. He was not pleased with the fact that she had some of the boxes open. And just to get the move started I asked him if he could start moving the big furniture and the closed boxes. He agreed however, he did not start moving things for another 30 to 45 minutes. And when you are paying someone for a labor by the hour, that time clock is very crucial. When she asked why they had not started to move her things, he got hostile and stated, “Are you ready? We’re not moving this today” to the other mover. She started to cry, and she had to beg him to move her big belongings and the closed boxes, because she had to be out of that apartment by the end of the day. Later, she asked him if he would move other items, and he would simply reply, “Nope, it’s not on the list” in a condescending tone. Keep in mind I am talking about items such as an ottoman, an end table, and a bookshelf. She had a bookshelf on the list. However, she didn’t make it plural so he only took one. She offered to tape shut the open boxes he said “No we’re not doing all of that”. Later, she tried to call the moving company to explain the experience that she had just had on an already stressful day, and she was met with more attitude. The receptionist began to yell at her and stated “THEY’RE NOT GONNA DO YOUR JOB FOR YOU!!!!!”. It is also to be noted that she was already crying when she started to call. After witnessing what I did, I wanted to call the owner myself and talk to him and explain the situation. Witnessing this grown man talk to a woman the way that he did was hard to watch. Also, her apartment was filled with things they refused to move. Honestly my tongue was nearly bleeding from having to bite it that day. And the owner he would not return my call. He still hasn’t. She was quoted $400 for three hours. They charged her $544 for less than 1.5 hours worth of work. They had only been there two hours if you count them standing there. Then the one mover who was confrontational told her that she was not going to be charged the full quote. However, she was charged over that plus she never received her $100 deposit back. Therefore, she was charged nearly $700 for them to leave 3/4th of what she owned, their unwillingness to compromise, and attitude. The younger mover apologized at the end of the move for how things went. And that was the only grace that that company had to offer. I never write Google reviews. This would be my first. I urge all of you all to avoid this company at all cost. Unless you are willing to pay their outrageous rates and deal with their lack of accountability. The picture below shows what they were willing to move. To give them one whole star truthfully feels too generous of me.

Insurance, not enough movers were sent to get the job done. The ones that did come work very hard and were very nice and polite, but we're rushing around.. Good night, after we were in the new house. We were realizing a lot of stuff was missing. Luckily we could get back in our old house and there was a sewing machine setting in the middle of the floor, a sixteen foot extension ladder by the back door, And a thirty two inch t v still in the packing box setting on the back patio. There were also a couple of nice pictures still on the wall of the house. Maybe they didn't move them because the packers didn't pack them like they should have. They also scraped the finish off the front of a bedroom night stand and didn't even bother to tell us we had to discover it And it was a very large scrape. I cannot recommend them.
