Our son started at Natural Foundations when he was 5 months old. We interviewed several daycares/preschools before finding Gwen. My husband and I both felt an immediate sense of calm and comfort speaking with Gwen and touring her program. Gwen and all the teachers at Natural Foundations are true partners in our son’s care and development. We love the open and ongoing communication with the teachers and the community Gwen fosters between all the families through parent involvement in holiday activities. Natural Foundations fosters my son’s natural development, curiosity and interests through play, plenty of outdoor time/walks and weekly music circle with Ms. Yvonne. When our son was admitted to the hospital, Gwen checked in regularly with us, visited with us in the hospital, brought a gift & cards from the other students to our son. She provided food, groceries and a blanket to keep us warm and coordinated with some of the other parents to bring over meals when we got home. Ms. Gwen runs an amazing, well-rounded program in which a child can grow, learn and explore. We look forward to many more years at Natural Foundations watching our son blossom and thrive in Gwen’s safe, encouraging and loving environment.

We are absolutely thrilled with the experience our children are having at Natural Foundations. We are a returning family and this is our 4th year at the program. This school offers a child-driven program that has truly exceeded our expectations with our first kid and we decided to enroll our second when she was 9-months old. From the moment we toured the facility we were impressed by the nurturing environment and the emphasis on child development. The teachers are not only highly qualified but also genuinely caring and attentive to each child's needs. Seeing all the happy kids I sometimes wish I was a kid and attending NF. The curriculum is engaging and well-rounded, encouraging curiosity and creativity. Miss Yvonne's weekly music class is one of our favorites. My older one loves her weekly "sharing day" where she gets to carry something from home to share with her friends. They love the pets , they love the garden where they get to plant their own flowers/veggies and take care of them. Oh, and we all love their weekly pizza day. Kids get to take turns and help the teachers make pizza. Our children have blossomed here, gaining confidence and a love for learning that will undoubtedly benefit them in the years to come. We also appreciate the open communication between the school and parents. The regular updates and insights into our children's progress have been invaluable. Gwen and other teachers are very easy to talk to and they provide appropriate guidance if a child needs special attention or help in any way. Overall, we couldn't be happier with NF. It's more than just a school; it's a community that truly cares about the well-being and growth of each child. We wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching preschool experience.

I'm beyond grateful to have found Natural Foundations Preschool. When we began our search for programs for our 2.5 year old, it was so important to me to send our daughter to a place where we felt the staff had a real understanding of early childhood development, where my daughter would be nurtured and develop confidence, and where we could become part of a community. We found all of this (and more) in Natural Foundations. My daughter has been exposed to so many things through “doing”, like gardening, treating animals with care, making art and music, problem solving, and resolving conflict with her peers. Her favorite parts of school are: her “sharing days”, planting and eating vegetables, pizza days, park days, painting, and most of all, her friends - she has learned so much from them! As a parent, I’m grateful for how attentive the teachers are and for their partnership in helping to develop our children. I’ve really enjoyed parent trainings where we have learned CPR & first aid and how to set and enforce boundaries. Family events are always a fun time to catch up with all the parents we don’t see during drop off and pick up. The Natural Foundations choir recital was definitely a highlight for me. Miss Yvonne comes in weekly to teach. How can you not smile watching a bunch of toddlers singing in unison on a stage?! They use studied methods for teaching the children how to address conflicts between their peers and how to become confident and respectful young humans. We are just so grateful and we plan to enroll our younger child next year!
