From the first phone call to the goodbye was an absolutely outstanding experience. Form the sale side they were so patient to work with my requirements, Saad and Alex were very understanding of every concerns of mine and managed to accommodate me on every single request. On the movers side, the team was led by Alex ( different Alex) who was extremely professional, punctual, respectful of our home, and personal items. Since we had expensive furniture and art work, we were concerned as to how will the team manage the wrapping and transportation of all items. Well I tell you , Alex with his confidence and calm personality gave us such comfort that we not once had to worry about anything. Alex and his team ( team of 4) were so efficient, so pleasant, so professional that if I would have not experienced it myself , I would have not believed it that such company exists. My husband, who is very meticulous about everything was extremely pleased as well. From the onliading to the off loading everything was just smooth and pleasant. There is no reason to look for else for I believe a better moving company does not exist. Thank you great movers for making this stressful time so pleasant for us. God bless you always.

I had a really good experience with NYC Great Movers with what was a very difficult move. We were moving mostly vinyl LP records and books from an apartment that no one had been living in for a long time and there were about 85 boxes, shelving+ a few other things. I had had a terrible experience moving books and records a couple of years before with a different moving company because I had packed them in large boxes—the crew took books out of the boxes by their bindings, threw them around and screamed at me. So this time, for the records at least, I made sure to use smaller boxes. There were only 2 guys on the crew which surprised me...Fabio led the crew. These guys were amazing! There was not even a tiny complaint about the records and books and they were carrying 3 to 4 boxes at once!! Both apartments are 4th-floor walk-ups. When we got to my apartment my coop decided to uphold the "no trucks in the driveway" rule that had been ignored in my previous move yet this crew still got it done-- they had to walk downhill the equivalent of a city block to get my stuff to my apartment and it only took them about an hour longer than it would have. They were amazing. FABIO rocks! My only qualm was that the move was scheduled for 9am and the appointment was bungled. So it was moved to 1pm the same day. The move finished quite late. But NYC Great Movers made up for it by cutting some of the extra moving time off of my bill. I would recommend NYC Great Movers to everyone!!

I’ve used NYC Great Movers for two moves within Brooklyn, and both experiences were great. They are more affordable compared to newer moving companies (can only speak on 1-bedroom moves), and they were very communicative leading up to the date. I worked with different teams for each move, but overall, they were fast, thorough, and friendly. Thankfully, there were no damages to my belongings or the buildings. I will be calling them if/when I move again and would recommend them.

NYC Great Movers are the best! This review is long overdue but I’ve used this company twice and had an excellent experience both times. I first used them in 2021 moving apartments within New York City. I most recently used them again in May for a move from New York City out of state to Connecticut. Their communication is excellent and their price is competitive. They are very professional and get the job done efficiently and without issue. They make the moving process less stressful and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone moving in the NYC area!

After researching and getting quotes from several other companies I decided to go with NYC Great Movers and I am SO glad I did! From the start they were so responsive & helpful. Their online inventory registration was so easy to use and update as needed and they provided me with a new, updated (and very reasonable!) quote right away. They were very patient with me regarding back and forth emailing of documents required by my co-op and allowed me to reschedule my move date without a fee or hassle at all! I thought "wow, if their actual moving service is half as good as their customer service, I've hit the jackpot" and boy was I right! MOVING SUCKS and they made it EASY! They were scheduled for 9am and got a call a little after 8 to confirm, they arrived a bit early which is fine by me "Early is on time and on time is late" if you ask me, plus, let's just get this over with, amirite?! AK came in first and quickly confirmed the inventory and then his 2 man crew came in, they were all really pleasant and friendly, something very appreciated so early in the morning and what is usually a very stressful day! They went at it right away and like a well oiled machine they wraped and got everything out of my 2 bedroom apt with speed and ease. We met them at our new place and because of lack of parking they had to park down the block which would add a long carry fee (that we were totally prepared for as we know parking here is awful) but I found the fact that AK apologised for having to charge us for it was very kind, and genuine. At no time during the process did I feel they were ever trying to nickel and dime me, quite the opposite, really. They got our things in and up to our apartment with the same ease and swiftness as they did getting it here. 4hrs total from start to finish with NO issues and nothing but smiles and hard work. Bravo! Thank you SO much for making what could have been a very incredibly stressful experience a very pleasant and smooth one. I am very, very grateful for this. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment using this company again and would urge you to stop your search and use them as well!
