We used Timber Ridge Moving to help speed the offloading of trucks with a very disreputable company that we used. We were very grateful that Brent and Chris could come on short notice. It was so helpful to have experienced, honest movers help us through a stressful event. We wish we had used Timber Ridge for our move!

Worst moving experience I have every had! I have moved over 10 times in my life, and this is by FAR the worst moving and packing I have ever experienced. We hired them for packing and moving, full service. Terrible mistake on my part. Half their team had never even moved before. I had one team member pack the printer and then ask me if he should pack the cord with the printer, he already packed… Lets start with the quote. He quoted me 15-hours to pack our entire house, move us out of our old house, move us into and assemble our furniture at our new house. I questioned him several times if he could actually PACK and MOVE us within that 15-hour time frame and he was very confident. Let’s just say “too good to be true” holds true with this company. We did THREE walkthroughs, before they even started moving us and at no point in time did he say that he would need to charge us for more time. The only thing he kept repeating “The more you pack the less time it will take us and the more money you will save”. They moved so slow that it ended up taking well over 30hrs to get packed and moved into our new house. My husband and I packed more ourselves than we anticipated, we had to have friends and family come to the new house to help us move things from the garage inside, and the movers were still that far behind. In order to “save time” they had to fill our garage and basement with boxes instead of actually moving us into our house. They banged up the walls moving us OUT of our old house and took chunks out of the NEW walls in our New Build Home. I have never had problems with other moving companies damaging walls. If that wasn’t bad enough, as we started to unpack and look at our belongings several large items and items, they packed in boxed were damaged. I say “packed” very loosely, some boxes had one pillow in it, others were wide open and not even packed at all, they even missed an entire drawer full of items and took curtains down that I specifically said did not need to be taken. I have been very fortunate to not have ANYTHING break during our past moves. However, this company takes the cake when it comes to breaking things. I also realized it took them so long to move us because they literally overkilled packing things in saran wrap and moved ONE box at a time. Most moving companies use a dolly and hustle. During the move they misplaced the feet to our couch, the inserts to our shoe rack, couldn’t find the feet to our bedframe and the list goes on. They didn’t pack anything together! It was total chaos. I could write a novel of all the things that went wrong. I took it up with the owner and the only thing the owner kept repeating was that “Things are easy to fix, things happen when moving, you never know how long a move will take until you get into it etc. etc.” an excuse for everything. I shouldn’t have to WASTE my time “fixing” broken things that should have never been broken in the first place. End of Story. Not only were we surprised at how terrible they were, even our cleaning ladies and our friends and family said they were super slow and in total chaos. The owner even told my husband (in front of my father) “don’t wait until the last minute to claim that anything is broken just to get your money back”.

These guys are awesome! Saw the number on a truck, called and scheduled an appointment the next day. Brent and his team were prompt, professional and courteous. All the furniture received pads and shrinkwrap. They were careful with each and every item. They will be my only call on the next move.
