I’ve spent about a month considering writing a review about this company and researched if I should to avoid retaliation. The conclusion I came to, if it’s true then I can. Before I start I need to say that I’ma pretty happy person 98% of the time. I’m not an angry truck driver that can’t ever be pleased. This review isn’t me trying to get back at them. It’s a honest review. I would write more about my experience here but that would sound petty. I spent about a month with this company and the first trip from Tulsa to California I spent two days in a hotel waiting for the truck to be repaired. This was my first trip. The next trip to Oklahoma and back, another night in a hotel getting the truck repaired again. This happened three times in a month. The trucks are very old and in constant need of repair. The pay is for a round trip(the first trip is held back), so that means- Oklahoma to California and back to Oklahoma,. Back to California and back to Oklahoma. Your first check, depending on your truck holding together and you can make a clean round trip, is held. It took me 3 weeks before I seen one trip paid. If your truck needs repaired in California you won’t get a check until you go back east and finish a turn. I’ll skip to the end of my time with tts. Because I am not retired or just out to get some money every now and then I had to leave. I let the company know on my 3rd time of the truck needing repaired and was about to be put in a hotel that once the repair was done that I was parking the truck in Tulsa. I was told $500 would be taken out of my check. I was asked on my last drop before I parked the truck if I could pick up another load for the next driver and bring back to the yard. I was told they would wave the $500. I did it and it was a good thing because of I didn’t(and what will happen to you,) $ 500 for no two weeks notice $250 truck cleaning. And $150 for insurance. $900 is what will be taken out of your check. I’m not a high maintenance driver. I’m just like you though i enjoy driving and I like getting paid. I kept my cdl through school because I always enjoyed coming out on the road. I won’t make any comments about any individuals who work here but I will tell you that there are 1000 better companies out there that will take care of you. This is a company that is trying to make ends meet with very old trucks. I was there for a week and they announce “No detention or layover will be paid because of the economy.” I can tell you that I work for a company now ( and there are many like mine out there), that pay detention and layover and haven’t ever considered taking it away “in this economy!” I stand behind everything I just wrote and I hope that you consider your options. If you’re okay with getting paid whenever and you don’t mind a truck that breaks down regularly, this company is for you! I’m sure the company will read this and know exactly who it was. Cool! I’m not the only one that experienced this. Remember also that anyone can write a good review for the company. Don’t be deceived. When you sit in the office on the first day filling out the contract, remember what I said.

Its a pleasure seeing TTS at work. They have mechanics working all the time keeping their trucks in great conditions. They have a nice break room for the drivers and workers. Looks like they have good things going.
