They went above and beyond to make this difficult transition peaceful and expedient for my mom. Donna and her team made this move one filled with assurance! I could not have accomplished this much, this fast without their assistance. Mom had to move into assisted living and downsize from 1300 sq ft to under 500 sq ft. The challenge of envisioning her belongings in the new space was met with a process that took away the uncertainty. The help Donna's team gave as we were selecting the 'must have' items was so helpful - pain reducing - nobody wants to let go of the memories and things of their lifetime. Then, they came and whisked away the must haves and set them up in the new space - it was like a HGTV moment when mom went into the new apartment! Emotions were high! After the main move, Donna's team provided more white glove service to help me clean out the old apartment. We agreed on groupings of belongings to go to various places. I moved things into those groups and marked them with sticky notes - and Donna's team shipped them for us - furniture, memories, art, silver and other family treasures! Those items earmarked for donation were handled by Donna's team. Finally, Donna and her husband personally delivered those things that were designated to me - halfway across the country - on schedule! I couldn't have asked for more! Tranquil Transitions did a totally wonderful job assisting my elderly mother with her move from Independent Living to Assisted Living in Fort Myers. I was apprehensive about moving her from her large apartment (with her huge collection of "memories") to her new smaller apartment....in fact, I was dreading it! But Tranquil Transitions made the entire process smooth and non-stressful! They not only did the moving, but arranged auctioning/donating the remaining items, and then cleaned out all of the remaining non-usable items. Our original meeting was rescheduled from morning to afternoon because Donna had a client moving to Memory Care that she needed to assist. That told me how dedicated they are to their clients. I loved that we could use whichever services we needed. They disposed of trash, helped sort through 20 years of items to downsize, coordinated pick-ups of charity donations, packed our possessions, moved & unpacked our possessions, setting up our apartment while I spent time with my hospitalized husband. The employees became family as they implemented our relocation. I have recommended Tranquil Transitions to several friends who have been equally impressed with their services.
