The movers were very friendly and effective, however several of my items were damaged and their liability clause essentially clears them of all wrong doing because unless you pay extra, you will be reimbursed a minscule amount of money as the valuation is based on weight of item, and not the value as it should be. I even paid extra for them to box my TV and it was damaged at arrival. Take your business elsewhere if you want your itens to be treated with respect. Other than that, they did a good job with being punctual and arriving and corresponding with updates etc.

I did some research on this moving company and in fact they only have one truck on file. It is obvious that they are just a broker. That is why they have bad reviews. I know that they use your money to hire people to do the move and screw up all your items. I do not recommend this company, it is a scam. They end up looking for Home Depot workers and rent a Uhaul truck.

DO NOT USE TRANS MOVERS. I paid Trans movers just under $6,000 to move my entire apartment from Texas to upstate New York. Within this, I paid extra (for both the manual labor and materials) for them to pack a number of items including artwork, lamps, furniture, bar cart, tvs, and my peloton. The movers themselves also encouraged me to go for the most basic insurance and assured me that was the best option. My movers arrived late in NY, did not communicate, dropped and threw boxes throughout my apartment, and did not unpack the items they had been paid extra to take care of. I watched the drop and break other items in the truck that were for other drop-offs. They consistently tried to leave before the job was done and never properly finished the job. Ultimately through out my move they damaged over $4000 in items all of which were items I paid EXTRA for them to pack. They left broken glass throughout my apartment and laid broken glass items just out in the open for my dog and cat to step on. I was assured by the owner of Trans Movers that he would take care of this and "make it right" (his words, not mine). Ultimately I was offered only $500 in total coverage between the insurance company and movers to cover more than $4,000 in damages. I cannot stress this enough- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not trust worthy, they will not take care of your personal belongings, and they will show no remorse for the damage they have caused.

If I could give them a zero, I would. One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They are scammers. Jessica was very rude and dismissive, in addition to being flat out dishonest and the owner Yanni is just as bad. They are not honest to deal with, slap you with additional fees In The thousands despite multiple discussions before signing any contracts. They only mentioned the additional elevator fee after I asked them specifically, unlike other companies which make sure to take all of these details into consideration before giving you an estimate so you’re not scammed. As inexperienced movers, you expect a professional moving company to tell you about an extra couple of thousand or at least making you aware to check if things like long haul at your destination is an issue, when you ask them about potential additional fees over 10 times before signing. After looking at multiple other reviews, I discovered that this is what they do… they lure you in with great prices, promise you no additional fees, then slap you with a bill after they have your furniture and it’s on its way. As people who do this all day long, they should’ve brought that up as a consideration. Do NOT sign or go with them. Listen to all the other negative reviews online who say the same thing and do not trust these guys. I cancelled last minute thankfully and lost my deposit, but that’s better than dealing with this dishonest, unprofessional, unethical company. I would pay more for a better honest team. I repeat. DO NOT use this company.

Do not let these people get your phone number. I tried to get a quote to move a piece of furniture from an auction, and they are contacting me from multiple numbers several times a week.I cannot even block them because of the switching numbers. I wouldn’t use them regardless of level of service, because of their relentless contacting. I’ve deleted most of the text messages and blocked some numbers, but a picture is attached to show the different numbers over multiple weeks.
