RUN away… I can’t begin to express how much worse a cross-country move was made by working with this moving company. The billing was confusing and not transparent, Joan despite ending every call saying “God Bless You” was the most disingenuous. If you notice good reviews it is because they offer a $140 discount to those who write them. Honestly I was scared to change my review because I was worried they would damage my belongings. My things arrived two nights ago (July 10) at 9 pm (they were packed from Houston on June 15). My desk is dented, frames were shattered, they lost the key to my armoir so I had to lock pick it. I was told to contact the moving company about any damages by the actual people dropping my things off (who were quite nice), but this was such a horrific experience I am too exhausted to do much about it.

The move from Houston to Nevada was stressful in itself, the movers helped make it easy. they emptied the house quickly and efficiently and it was a big house. I had to wait a week after I was in my new place to get the furniture delivery but everything went pretty well. Because the furniture had to be moved twice I did have some minor scratches and a lost item but overall everything went well. I was compensate for the Lost item. The moving team was great.. I love my new place.

I was very pleased with using Transit Moving systems. They moved me from Houston to Atlanta and then from Atlanta to St. Louis. They were a five star rated operation. They wrapped all my materials and furniture like they were doing their own equipment for their own personal use. They did not hesitate to, put my stuff in extra equipment that I needed shipped without any hesitation they were a great company. I would recommend them to all my friends and whoever needs them. This was one of the best experience I’ve had and getting my personal belongings to me safely from state to state .

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU USE THIS MOVING COMPANY FOR LONG DISTANCE MOVES. I WILL SAVE YOU HEARTACHE AND MONEY. 1. They use brokers. Whatever you are quoted, they will charge you more. No matter what. $75 for elevator $75 or more for extra flights of stairs If the 18 Wheeler can't park on your block, they will charge you $350 to rent a small truck. Even after all of my diligence, I still paid $150 in extra charges because the truck parked across the street from our loading dock. Leo lied to me. Leo started my move out. Nicest guy in the world. After Leo, it was all down hill. This is my 7th cross country move. THE WORST OF ALL EXPERIENCES when it should have been the easiest move because I only had my king bed, 2 chairs, a mirror and a swivel chair. The driver who did my delivery was so rude. Trying to charge me extra money. Charging me for things I had already paid for. I got 3 quotes before I even selected the mover. Yes, I'm one of those people, especially after working for government for over 20 years. Transit came in the lowest. I wish I had gone with Ace. If you're reading this - go with Ace. I'm so serious. No matter how low their bid is, you will pay more. I didn't add anything to my move. I took items away and they still tried to scam me. This was the worst experience of my life. If you book them after reading this review, good luck. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. This is 100% the honest to God's truth.

We were blessed with an extremely hard working crew. They showed dedication to their profession by getting the job completed even whe it required an additional trip. They trouble shot getting a large refrigerator out the front door and safely delivered. You can buy cheaper but you get what you pay for. Thanks for the great move!
