FANTASTIC service. Tailored Transitions did everything for me while I was 3000 miles away. From the very beginning Brent was friendly, compassionate, and determined. Most importantly, he got great value for my uncle's home. Because of Tailored Transitions, this process was essentially STRESS FREE. When we were introduced to Brent Mardesich and Tailored Transitions, our family was navigating an extremely difficult time. My parents' wish was to stay in their home of 63 years for the remainder of their lives. However, my dad had been diagnosed with lung cancer, and his need for 24/7 nursing care had exhausted their savings, and the reverse mortgage they had taken out was almost depleted. Mom was disabled due to a hip fracture and needed daily assistance as well. As a family, we realized that the only answer was to sell their home so that we could use the proceeds to move them to an assisted living facility out of the area, which was closer to their kids and grandkids. This move would give them the care that they needed and allow all of us to participate more in their day-to-day lives. My parents' effort to pack up their home (with our help) proved to be an emotionally excruciating (and slow) process. We decided to go ahead with the move and agreed that my brother & I would take over the packing up and prepping the house for sale. Three days after the move, my Dad passed away. Brent was an amazing comfort, making it clear that the most important thing to do was to be there for Mom, and to take time to grieve. He assured us that there was no hurry or pressure to get the house on the market, and that Tailored Transitions would be there to help us when we were ready. When we were finally able to start the cleaning out process both Brent and Mitzi Golden were invaluable in helping to get the house ready to put on the market. They always responded quickly to questions, offered to help with things such as handling all of the inspections, watering the yard during an extremely hot spell, keeping an eye on the pool between servicing to make sure the water didn't get too low, being there to meet buyers of items we were selling, and taking care of items we were donating. Being that my brother & I both worked full time and lived outside the area, this was very helpful. The contractor Brent uses, Martin Castro, was fair, professional and available immediately to perform the needed repairs and improvements...saving us the hassle and time that searching for our own contractor would have caused. When the house was ready to be placed on the market, Brent's expertise as to timing and price placement was spot on. We ended up with a couple of offers above the asking price, and the sale closed without complications within 30 days (about 3 weeks before Mom's money would have run out...such a relief). Looking back, we are so grateful for the empathy, help, advice & guidance that the team at Tailored Transitions offered us during such a sensitive & difficult time. They are without a doubt the best at what they do.

I loved working with Tailored Transitions. They stepped in at a difficult time in our lives and helped my Mom and me organize 50 years of belongings and memories for transition to a new living space for my Mom. They were extremely helpful in the processes of sorting, moving, donating and disposal. They moved Mom entirely into her new living arrangement - I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Of equal importance, they prepared the properties and sold them within one month - and they did so in a difficult real estate market! We couldn’t have been happier with the experience we had with the Tailored Transitions team!
