Please, please, please, please do not make the mistake we did and use this company. The movers were pleasantly surprised with how little we needed to move, and I thought it was a great sign that it was just the things I alone could not move to our new apartment. However, I was wrong. This move ended up being a little over 7 hours. I am uploading pictures of our exact move so you all are aware and can make informed decisions when looking for moving companies. Our recent encounter with Trek Movers for a short one-mile move was a complete disappointment. The service provided was far from what we had anticipated, given their stellar reviews on Google. Despite meticulously filling out the inventory list, the move took an unreasonably long time—4 hours to load and 3 hours to unload. The inefficiency and delays were not just frustrating but also highly inconvenient. The packing and loading process could have been more efficient. One person did most the packing while the other waited, significantly prolonging the process. It was so slow that I had time to communicate with family about how long it took. What added insult to injury was the final bill. The initial quote of $537, which we had expected to increase to around $750 with fees and tips, skyrocketed to a staggering $1,441. This was unacceptable to us, especially considering the minimal amount we had to move and the short distance involved. To their credit, our TV stand was damaged and the team came back a few days later to make whole. That was kind but it was not our issue as we understand things break and the movers were move worried about it than we were. Totally okay. But I did want to give that shoutout. We were offered a refund of $250, or basically 1.5hrs. We were told that we should have admonished the workers about how slow the moving process was, and they would have called their supervisor for support. I pushed back that we are the customers; it’s not our job to tell the movers how to do theirs or for them to continue billing us while waiting for supervisor support. Again, do not use Trek. We have moved three times and have never had this experience, but Trek tells us that every move is different.

Tim and team were amazing! Another company canceled on us the day before and Trek saved the day by getting us moved the following day. We had a big two bedroom apartment with an old, slow elevator and they were fast, efficient, thorough, and thoughtful. Tim was on time, easy to communicate with and overall great to work with. Very professional, highly recommend. We will be using them the next time we move.

I went with Trek Movers to move from my apartment into my new house last month and the movers did not disappoint. Thank you to Andrew, Alex and Artem. Boris, Alex, and Roma. Awesome job. They protect all furniture. Great for Russian speakers. They are quick and easy. No complaints. I’ve used trek 3 separate times and I’ve never had a problem. This crew was the best I have had. Perfect communication very nice!

Everything went smoothly with my move. The hourly rate for this company was higher than other quotes I received, but there was no hidden/extra fees which the others had. I decided to go ahead with this company as Ray was the most responsive and was very transparent with what to expect with the whole process. Movers worked pretty much non stop all day and packed and organised everything well, they even got to my new apartment before me (and it was hour+ drive). Glad I decided to go ahead with Trek Movers, definitely recommend and would use them again in the future.
