RUNNNNNN!!!! I would give them zero stars if I could. I first reached out to first rate van lines and they contracted it out to Trig. I am extremely unhappy with the services I received from Trig Moving Company. Not only were the majority of the items transported damaged including; antique furniture, crystal dishes, equipment my husband uses for work. I received a quote for $5,700, I was charged $12,000. I was not given the written quote before the truck was loaded, and I was told unloading it was not an option. There were large wardrobe boxes that had very little in them, they charge you by they square foot. I wasn’t given an option for insurance, they trashed my property with packing materials, and their customer service was full of false promises and no resolution. I asked to enter into mediation and they declined.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Although all of our items got delivered, almost EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE, ART, AND BELONGINGS WAS DAMAGED. See a few examples below, also the attached photos . I strongly urge anyone considering Trig Moving & Storage to find a different company that has a rating with the BBB. Or at least get very good insurance and move anything you care about yourself. 1) Furniture that was packed in blankets came with the blankets TORN through with the furniture beneath scraped and gouged. 2) Clothes (including a tuxedo) were NOT hung in wardrobe boxes but crumpled together with other stuff packed on top. 3) Free weights were packed ON TOP of decorative items 4) Lamps were bent and BROKEN. 5) Art was stuffed in a SINGLE box with NO individual WRAPPING 6) Our microwave (although it looked fine) SPARKED AND SMOKED, was handled rough enough to break the internal electronics.

7/28/20 update Finally our painful moving process has come to an end.. after 40 long days, our furniture and boxes finally arrived. The moving company was not helpful and gave wrong information every time we called. Didn't even inform it was loaded on the truck. very unprofessional and disheartening to see customer service so bad.. please save yourself the time and money. Moving is a broken ecosystem, customer is at their mercy. There are 3 players - those who pick up and load your stuff _ van lines, those who store your stuff trig, those who move and unload your stuff eagle moving. A little courtesy to help customer expect it to be late would be appreciated in the future. We paid over 2k and had the worst experience and even gave up after a month that our stuff wasn't going to come ever. Please don't lie to the customer.. be honest and tell me the truth. ....................................... 7/5/20 I wish we would get our stuff soon but no luck in 3weeks.. n still waiting 😭 I would expect a courtesy to have some empathy with what we are going through.. the photos show what we are working with.. no utensils or furniture n sleeping on sleeping bag is all because of wrong commitment and communication.. 1st we were told 1700 for moving a studio - couch, table n bed with boxes n then on day of moving told they can't move n then they increased it to 2300.. we had no leverage n were out of options.. disappointed.. they got the money n now we are helpless. Then we were told to pick date of availability and that it will arrive in a week.. there is no value for verbal conversation.. then when we gave the new address we were told.. that the date countdown is 7_14days from that date. If I had known.. I would have given an earlier date.. Now it's a phone call every other day and still no update .. other than we will prioritize without any promise.. I have no hope of or when our stuff will show up.. the moving company is a scam and only adds to the stress of moving.. Please show some empathy and be honest with your customer. I would have brought some basic stuff if you had told me it would take a month or more.. Worst experience ever. Never moving furniture again in my life.. not worth it.

We just used Trig for our out of state move and if I could mark zero I would. Don't use them. The quality of service was horrible. More than half of our boxes were crushed, most of which were marked fragile. Sure, the people were nice, but that means nothing when you damage everything. Also, we are pretty sure that we are missing some boxes. They didn't even check the boxes off when they brought them in. It was the most unprofessional service we've ever used. Don't use their service.

Trig Moving & Storage provided the cheapest price to move my personal items to a new state. I ended up getting what I paid for. Please be aware that the delivery date is an AVERAGE of 7-14 days from the day you say you'll be ready to receive the material, not from the day of pickup. If I were to go back I would have said I could receive the material the day after pickup. The fine print says that they have up to thirty (30) days to deliver your items from the day you say you'll be ready to receive your items. Also, be aware that the insurance is for 60 cents PER POUND of the items, i.e. if an item weights 100 pounds you will receive $6.00; flat screen TVs typically weigh 50 pounds so if they break your TV you will get back $30. The insurance is essentially useless. Prior to move: I scheduled the move two (2) months in advance and re-confirmed the pickup date myself one (1) week before pickup. The day before pickup I called to re-confirm they'd be there the next day to pick my items up. Unfortunately, they didn't have me on their schedule and I had to call a few times to make sure that my stuff get picked up the next day. Day of pickup: They initially gave me a pickup window between 9am - 12pm. The movers didn't show up until 4pm. Trig Moving & Storage gave me a $200 discount for the inconvenience. The movers did a good job of packing my stuff and loading it onto the truck. Time between delivery: The staff at Trig Moving & Storage will not commit to any delivery dates and will not let you know when your items have been loaded onto the moving truck. My items were in a storage unit for a week until a delivery truck was available. Delivery: My items were delivered 2 weeks and 3 days after pickup. The delivery driver called me to give me a 24 hour notice of dropoff and ended up showing up 36 hours later. They were extremely unprofessional and didn't handle any of the items with care. Broken Items: Trig moving & Storage broke my TV, they broke a lot of my drinking glasses, my bedside table, etc. Summary: Please be careful before hiring Trig Moving & Storage
