True Blue Movers LLC Info | Compare Moving Quotes

I'm giving one star because they picked up my stuff but they gave me a quote for which I detailed everything only to find out when the actual movers get here it's more than double the price and after reading reviews now it seems like that's the catch here. I threw out much of my furniture just to cut back cost of moving that day. I called and a supervisor told me the movers needed more materials etc but nothing changed from what I listed so you'll should of done a better quote in person or video call or something to properly give a quote, hence you'll should be professional moving company. I'll never recommend to anyone please please do not Do Not use this company!

Not marking 1 star because everyone did their job well. There was a lack of full transparency and systemic communication. The problem is the way the company operates, not the workers themselves. First, its cash only (no checks) because its a 3rd party moving company not in home. Rhis leads to communication issues and who also carries that much cash at a time? The workers bust their buttons for over 24 hours of no sleep but the owner gets all the money and splits with the true blue corporate people. There is little communication between the 2 because I was told one 3 hour window but they ended up arriving 10 hours later with no notice to me. Then they also showed up with the old paperwork eventhough i sent their office the updated paperwork 2 days prior. The sales people told me it would be one price for them to load all my packed items including assembling and disassembling bigger furniture items. I ended up paying over 1000 in extra costs for extra space, padding, and stairs because they didn't take apart all furniture as it would take too long. And while they don't charge for the first flight of stairs, I was told later that a flight is 10 steps so I ended getting charged because my stairs had 12 steps. Items arrived later than I was told as well. Movers didn't speak English so they couldn't read when boxes were labeled for certain rooms or if it said "fragile." Nothing was broken and it all arrived but nothing happened the way I was originally told when I spoke with the sales guy and put a deposit down then. I felt scammed.

True Blue Movers crew was on time, professional, courteous, and nothing was damaged at all. They are reasonably priced with very easy payment option. The owner called me several times during the move to make sure everything was going well for me. I have used 4 different moving companies in the DMV and True Blue Movers hands down was the best. I would use definitely use them again.

Showed up 24 hours late. Wouldn't load the truck stating there was more than what we contracted for. Wouldn't return our deposit. This company is a scam artist and a joke!! DO NOT use them! Update: Submitted my review end of August. Took them to Better Business Bureau. They agreed to reimburse $500 of our $1984 deposit. Today is 11/25 and I still don't have the money. Your choice but avoid the headaches and go somewhere else!!

I wish the other reviews about this company being a scam we’re there when we booked because it would have safer me a ton of stress and time. DO NOT USE THEM ended up paying TWICE as much as the estimate for the same weight as we estimated, they didn’t put any of the furniture back together, they hired someone off Craigslist to do the move, and our gun safe had been broken into (thankfully it was empty) again never use this company they will take your moving and ruin your things and costumer service will never return your calls when you try to resolve issue. They are the worst company I’ve ever worked with.
