Greg, the owner, came to my house in Carson City and did a free consultation and quote to pack my home in a 27 foot trailer. I let him know that we were relocating out-of-state so he had a clear idea how things needed to be packed. The crew showed up on time and kicked butt to get it done within 3.5 hours. They plastic wrapped what I couldn't get to, at no extra charge. They disassembled furniture that could be, to fit better and the 3-man team did amazing to pack the trailer tight. They were professional to work with and very kind. The office ladies also did everything in an amazing order to make my experience the best. Paying for travel cost wasn't an issue. The company can either raise their hourly rate to cover "said travel" or you can pay the distance for great service. Unfortunately, there were no local carson city businesses to assist when i needed the service, so you get what you pay for. In this case, it was the best moving service in the area. I highly recommend working with Two College Guys team.

Two College Guys just moved my husband and I in February, and they were wonderful! They loaded up all of our belongings very quickly, and they never complained about how heavy or difficult any of our furniture was. They were very professional and they even went above and beyond for us. We have a desk that was too large to fit through a hall to get to our office, so Greg and his associate stayed to help us take the desk apart, and help us get it into our office! I would definitely reccomend them to anyone who is moving. They're pretty fairly priced as well.

DO NOT HIRE: MOVERS SHOW UP 2.5 HRS LATE, DRUNK/IMPAIRED & PHYSICALLY UNABLE TO DO JOB I originally booked this company at the beginning of June, for a move out date of June 30th. Over that period of time, I called the company THREE times to ensure that everything was good, the movers would have all the supplies needed, I was still on the books for the 30th. The two movers were supposed to be here at 9am with a 16ft truck. I got a call from the lady in the office on the 30th at 9 stating they were having trouble getting the rental truck, but they’d be at my apartment by 9:30. 9:50 a mover slurring his words calls and says he’s picking up the other worker and will be here within 30 minutes. 11:00 I call the office back, she’s unable to get a hold of the movers, but when she does she says they “got lost” but are off the interstate and right by my apartment. 11:30 two old men, obviously not in the best of physical health to be lugging heavy stuff around, finally show up. They say they don’t have GPS, or even working phones. One guy reeks of pot and the other guy is DRUNK. He can’t stand up straight, slurring his words and the smell of URINE is all over him. I asked them if they realized they had to move me to the 3rd floor. They said no, they didn’t think they could get all this stuff up to the 3rd floor by themselves. They were also supposed to bring a 26ft truck, it was a 10ft truck, meaning multiple trips. And they said they’d be unable to perform the task because the truck had no ramp. It was already arranged by this company that I had to drive the truck from point A to B, but they’d handle everything else….so I was supposed to drive with these two, smelling foul and dirty, beside me back and forth, and move my own things?? Shaunda in the office called me back to say that she was unable to get another crew to help me that day, and even worse could do nothing to get me moved the next day. Leaving me high and dry!!! I now have to pay an extras night rent at my apartment, scramble to find new movers, and have been unable to move this INCREDIBLE COMPLAINT up the chain to a manager or the owner. 72 hours have passed, giving Greg, the owner ample time to call me back to discuss this matter...NOTHING. The people sent couldn’t even do the job if the wanted to, much more they sent untrustworthy, unprofessional, and drunk movers!! Three weeks ago when I booked, the proper truck size with a ramp should’ve also been booked. Two College Guys sounds like you’d be getting 2 able-bodied, unimpaired workers (it even says in Greg’s Yelp description he hires COLLEGE KIDS). Being 2.5 hours late, and then admittedly being unable to perform the job hired to do (they were well aware of the specifics of the move when I booked) is outrageous. And then not being able to take this complaint up the chain takes the cake. PLEASE, do not make the same mistake, or go through the stress and anxiety as I did. Pay a little more to ensure the job can even be completed...by professionals...with customer service and accountability… oh, the drunk guy drove the truck back to the rental company

Where to begin...first of all I was given an inaccurate quote on time and cost from the owner, Greg (over the phone, I stated to treat my 1 bedroom with a den as a two bedroom since I had so much furniture - he quoted me on a one bedroom), so instead of a two hour job like he said it turned in to a 7.5 hour job. That didn't even bother me as much as the damage to the furniture and the lack of response from Greg and Chandra. I purchased the damage insurance and that apparently doesn't help. All of my furniture is new within the past year - three pieces were damaged. I emailed pictures of the damaged furniture the same day as the move (July 17) and also followed up with the purchase price and links to the furniture within the week. I continued to email and left voice mails for updates but it was an act of God to get a hold of anyone. When I finally did get a hold of Chandra she said the email had been down. The problem was that I had also been leaving voice mails and she knew about the issue - she should have been following up on it, not me having to constantly follow up on it. I was talking with Greg (he had poor connection) on August 13 and his phone dropped the call. He never called back and I haven't heard from anyone since. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company for payment, a complaint with the NV Transportation Authority and Better Business Bureau as well as writing reviews online. Hopefully the money from the dispute will be enough to repair my furniture.

The movers were very nice and helpful. They arrived on time. They forgot the straps to tie everything down in the truck. Luckily my neighbor lent me some. They legit forgot the straps and we're willing to let the items get damaged in the truck.
