I had a deeply frustrating experience with Two Men and a Truck that I feel compelled to share to warn others. I contacted Andrew at the company to schedule a large and complex move, clearly explaining the scope of work, including multiple stops. Andrew assured me the movers could handle it and provided a quote based on this. On the day of the move, the movers called to confirm they were en route to the first of five locations. After completing the work at the second location, the movers informed me that they were too fatigued to complete the remaining stops. They explained this to their manager, who admitted that Andrew should not have scheduled the job this way. The manager suggested splitting the move into two jobs, which I reluctantly agreed to. However, I was shocked when I was charged a much higher amount than expected, especially since only 1/3 of the job was completed. The movers informed me that I was also being charged for travel time, something Andrew failed to mention. I told them I would withhold payment until I could discuss this with a manager, but the company processed the payment before resolving the issue. When I reached out to Andrew to express my concerns, he assured me that the total cost would still fall within the original quote. I found this hard to believe since the partial move had already consumed half of my budget. I escalated the issue to the manager, who confirmed the miscommunication but offered no resolution other than to schedule the second move—and, of course, charge me more money. As a disabled veteran living on a fixed income, this situation has left me in a tough spot. Not only is my move incomplete, but I also can't afford to finish it, leaving me to sleep on the floor, which will undoubtedly worsen my health. To make matters worse, I contacted the corporate branch about my experience and never received a follow-up. This lack of response makes me believe that they are just in it for the money, with little concern for customer satisfaction. I'm not saying don't use Two Men and a Truck, but be aware of hidden fees, the potential for your move to be incomplete, and the lack of compensation when the company inconveniences you due to their errors. If you want to avoid stress, I recommend tripling your quote to get an accurate estimate. I hope this review helps someone avoid the difficult situation I'm now facing.

This company has the worst drivers imaginable and has costed me several thousand dollars because they have to merge onto the internet infront of an oversized load and no one's trying to take responsibility nor trying to find the responsible party. Had I not been able to stop a 97,000 pound semi and destroy parts of my truck it would not only have cost the life of there driver but possibly mine and others around. If they care so little about the life's of humans do you think they will care about your stuff they transport? And it's not like I'm not visible

I would strongly recommend you do NOT use Two Men and a Truck. I'm not someone who leaves a lot of reviews, but I want to warn the public about this company. I contracted with this company to move objects from NJ to Fl. What you should know is that each location is a franchise and operates independently. So if there is an issue, each franchise will blame the other. In my case, for a small move (2 crates), the company lost two valuable wall mirrors. The delivery franchise (Florida) claimed they never got the mirrors to deliver. The pick up franchise (NJ) claimed they never picked up the mirrors. This is even after the mirrors were listed on the inventory sheet. I understand stuff happens, but when I contacted the pick up franchise, they insisted that they never picked up the mirrors even though I literally saw them put the mirrors on the truck. They will ignore you and/or not return phone calls if you have an issue with them. Use them at your own peril.

I have been a returning customer with multiple moves with this company. My experience was always good until my last move. Please see the attached pictures. I obviously lost a lot of belongings due to the way my items were stacked. When I called to complain and ask if I could send them some photos, they responded with we will not honor any claim. This, before ever even seeing what I was complaining about. As you will see in that attached pics, this is the way my items were loaded. No shrink wrap, no blankets, metal objects on top of wood furniture. Their response to me was we are not responsible for items damaged in transit. Fair enough, but when you stack those items in this manner, how can you not expect damage? When you hire a professional moving company, you expect them to know how to pack. I will never use this company again. The upper management (Christine Thomas) of this local branch didn't even reach out to me to discuss. I plan on complaining to the Corporate Office as well but I don't expect to get much help there either. I have never bothered to write a review until now. If you read this, do not use this company. By far, the worst treatment I have every received being a return customer. Thousands of dollars in damage and not even a return call...

I am not understanding some of the low ratings. Two Men and a Truck, specifically this team is absolutely amazing! From the first call to end of service, they were helpful, professional, polite, and made our tight timeline work. Price was extraordinarily economical. The service was spot on; on time, fast, and delivered superior service. I'll never use any other company to move now!
