It was such a smooth transition for me. The young black lady that assisted me was amazingly wonderful. Kind, professional and most importantly she appeared to be so genuine and eager to assist me. She smiled and was very pleasant. When returning the rental truck the young man was so pleasant and made it so simple. I must state that this was a very memorable and pleasant experience. Only ONE complaint or dissatisfaction was the gentleman name Tony in which I will never forget or want to assist me. I witness his interactions with other customers and when my representative was assisting me he would interact with her by answering a question she had or hearing her conversation with me and adding his view point in. He was unprofessional..very blunt and direct. Which is okay to say or speak the truth. However, he need to realize that he is in Customer service and professionalism,your TONE, attitude, and greetings to your customers is a very important part of YOUR job description. Other than that I was very satisfied and had a pleasant..stress free experience.

A stolen GoPro Camera. When visiting this particular location, be careful of your personal belongings, for there are thieves working there. After a long road trip on my motorcycle, I decided to transport the bike the rest of the way to SW FL. I arrived there at 9am and proceeded to load my motorcycle into the 15-foot truck. My Go Pro camera was attached to my helmet via a chin mount. I had placed the helmet in the cab of the truck for safe keeping as it is an expensive helmet. I even place a jacket over the helmet to keep it hidden. For the next 30 minutes i loaded the bike and secured it via tie downs and then changed out of my riding gear into street clothes. It was during this time, that one of the two employees, who were both outside at different times, reached into the truck and tore off the GoPro and chin mount from my helmet I didn't notice it until I go home. I told one of the U-Haul employees where I dropped the truck off about it and he said that location has security cameras and would be able to see who did it. Great...I thought!!! LOL, boy have I learned a lesson in apathy. The Edgewood Ave location that I rented it from, gave me the number to the Regional Manager. I'm thinking, so far so good. I called her (I'll leave names out of this review, but she knows who she is) when she answered she was more concerned how I got her number. (Right away, I knew, she would be useless) She said she'd call her computer guy, and that she manages 13 stores, blah blah blah. I waited and waited for days. Nothing. I texted her and she responded that she would be viewing the footage the next day. One week later, I texted her again to remind her, she responds saying she found nothing. I asked for a screen shot of my arriving there. She said she doesn't have one. Did she really view the footage? I suspect not. The reason I suspect not was that she promised to get one but then asked when this happened again. It's been ten days and of course, I haven't heard anything back. She was only stonewalling me. In the meantime, I did file a report with the Sheriff's Department where I didn't leave out the names of all of those that were involved including her cell phone number. No, I don't expect the Sheriff's Department to do anything or follow up, but it did at least allow me to vent my frustration. The sad thing is not the camera itself but all the footage I had on there. The lessons learned: Trust no one...no matter how friendly they were to you, and apathy thrives among certain people and corporations such as U-Haul.

I had u boxes dropped off at this location. We called the day before pickup to make sure everything would be good to go for the movers and we were told everything was ready for pickup. When the movers arrived the next day, they were told they couldn’t get our u boxes because the boss, who is apparently the only one who’s forklift certified, just didn’t show up. Customer service is awful !! There’s no excuses whenever we were told that everything was ready for us. This is not the first issue we have had with this company. We will NEVER use U haul again.

I made my reservation online and was provided a price…i knew with the milage it would run abt $70-80…when i showed up for my reservation i was quoted that price and swiped my card only to later find out that the cashier added additional services without my knowledge or permission and was charged an additional almost $90…2 separate additional charges in the amount of $45 and $43…for a total of 3 separate UHAUL charges…HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND FRAUDULENT

Don't rent from any Uhaul nationwide until they make sure there trucks can't be broken into. Once you're truck is stolen your screwed and you have to fight like hell to get your money back. They won't cover the contents inside either.
