Great customer service. My initial Uhaul rig had the check engine light on. They checked the codes and determined it was not a simple fix. Swapped me out for a different truck no questions asked. Very much appreciated the customer service and I appreciate as on the road. Job well done.

The site is so large, if you enter a driveway that is not signed indicating where truck drop off is, you roam aimlessly around on a heat wave September day trying to figure out where to return the truck. The staff person inside the moving supplies office was not warm and welcoming. The two individuals accepting the truck back seemed very green and may benefit from customer service training: smiling, warm greeting, listening to the customer's concern with eye contact. . . Staffing is hard to find; it's a challenging time. There was something wrong with the gas tank which I did not discover until I was hundreds of miles away from the original UHAUL pick up location. The gas nozzle would "eject" from the truck, three different times, three different gas stations, and gasoline would spurt out down the side of the truck and the first time, all over my left leg and shoe. When I attempted to fill the gas tank to return the truck, the gas tank would stop the pump indicating the tank was full. This meant I went to drop off the truck and the tank was only 3/4 full. I had to find a 2nd gas station and force the nozzle to override the gas tank turn off, at least a dozen times, to get a full tank. I'm concerned the individuals who accepted the truck back didn't report the gas tank issue and wrote it off as customer error. This customer has been filling gas tanks for 34 years and has NEVER had three different nozzles from three different stations get EJECTED out of the vehicle and spray gas all over. I figure the gas tank shutting off the nozzle indicating the tank was full, is just UHAUL making money as the customer thinks the tank is full, returns the truck, discovers it's not, and won't be bothered going and topping of the tank and just pays the UHAUL gas fees.

I need a truck to pull a trailer from Boise to Idaho Falls. That got me a 26' truck that was bigger than I wanted but it was the only one that could pull a 5k lbs trailer. They had a 2" ball but I needed a 2 5/16" ball. They told me their ball was welded on so they suggested I get a clamshell that would convert a 2" to a 2 5/16" ball. Only problem, they didn't sell it. I had to go to three different stores to find one. Once I got there, they were very helpful and got me discounts on my truck. All in all, they did the best they could and turned what was a problem into a solution.

The truck I was given broke down after I got it loaded. While the customer service agent I talked to was very nice she couldn't resolve my problem in an acceptable way. I had to have my truck towed to a Uhaul location and personaly reload everything in my 26' truck to another 26' truck. They said they could NOT find any approved movers with in FIVE hours of Walla Walla Washington. That area includes the Seattle, Portland and Tri-cities area. Uhaul did not help me with this. In fact the Uhaul location. just left the key for the new truck under the seat of an unlocked truck. I never saw an employee, I wasn't given ANY paperwork. I tried to call haul and was on hold for 20 min. I tried to call the # on the door of the Uhaul location and got no answer. Uhaul finally after about an hour called me from a text I sent to the first customer service agent and did email me paperwork with the correct truck info on it. I haven't even mentioned that I had to drive 3 hours (each way) to get a truck I reserve locally they called me the day berfore I was scheduled to pick it up and said they did't have a truck at my location. Then WHY did the take my reservation the week before???? NO I AM NOT SATISFIED. The 2nd truck drove well and I did get my stuff moved but Uhaul made the already stressful and exhausting process MUCH harder.
