We rented a 15’ truck. it just happened to be a rainy day. We drove for about 7 1/2 hours. The truck had a leak on both sides of the cab. We called to get customer service assistance. They informed us that we would have to pull over and wait on roadside assistance and did not know how long it would take them to arrive. We informed them that we did not want to stop and sit on the side of the road or somewhere until they figure it out when the assistance would arrive. They suggested we pull over And purchase a tarp and cover the cab of the vehicle, which is unacceptable. They said we could file for reimbursement for the tarp. We were literally soaked from our shoulders to our underwear from the water leaking in over the seatbelt and running down over our bodies. Once we reached our destination we asked them about some type of compensation. We were informed that U-Haul‘s policy is that the vehicles are waterproof and not water resistant. They informed us that there was nothing that they could do. We spent $1300 on a one-way U-Haul rental and this is the treatment that we received. Where is the customer service and understanding that we were not comfortable and inconvenienced during our whole drive?

They don’t clean out their vehicles prior to renting them out again. We got a rental just before close and had to take it to the car wash too vacuum because the seats and floor were full of pet hair.

Doug, Marquita, and Corey are Amazing and the service was awesome the store was neat and clean fully stocked and we were in and out in no time. Everyone dislikes moving and they made a stressful time smooth!!! Highly Highly recommend Top Tier Service!!! 10 outta 10 !!!

I had a few issues with the app for the truck pick up, return, and etc. There were some over the phone reps at the calls Center (2) that gave bad customer service. But overall, majority of the U-Haul workers, from the call center, Hazelwood, MO location & etc. gave phenomenal service. Thank you.

This was my second rental, from this location in a week. My first visit I did self check in online. This time, I opted for self check in again, however this locations wi-fi signal is weak so it would not detect my location, so I was not able to do self check in. Samantha helped us out & she was wonderful. She was kind & efficient & funny! While we were checking out...She gave us 2 of the coldest waters on earth, which gave us life...as we moved a few recliners. This will now be our go to location...even with the weak wi-fi!I Thank you Samantha for the kindness. I hope we see her again when we go back!
