The ratings do not lie people. The hours at this U-Haul on Saturdays state they’re open till 7pm. Google, the U-Haul website, and their very own doors say that as well. When you arrive after 6pm you will get the bare minimum from these folks. The professionalism is lacking and I’m sure also the sales as well. As I was told not to buy a propane tank at that location be they’re “too expensive”. And that they would not fill my propane tank because it needed to be requalified. They never said anything about them going to close in soon when I arrived around 5:30. I did ask the lady as well if they requalify them and she said no. So being she told me to not buy a propane tank at this U-Haul, I went all the way across missoula to someone that would be willing to sell me a propane tank no matter the price they were priced for. After that I went back to this same U-Haul location to get my new propane tank that I just bought filled. I pulled up, set the tank on the stand, rang the bell for service and sat in my car until a gentleman named John came out. I did not notice he had came out and he comes up to my window and says “we’re closed for the day sorry” and turned around to proceed back from where he came from I said “what?” Because I didn’t hear him clearly and everywhere where their hours are listed it says 7. So I was confused as well. He turns back around with his palms up but hands still by his side and said “sorry. We’re closed.” I said “okay”. After that I sat in the car and looked up propane refill near me. Everywhere was closed but this U-Haul location not only google was saying it was open but theyre own website and front doors as well. I went inside to receive a complaint form after this whole experience and was told they do not have any. After that I asked both the lady that helped me the first time and the gentleman that expressed his need to not help me this second time I came to the location if they were the managers they both said no. I asked for the gentleman’s name and he said “John”. I grabbed a card off the desk they were both sitting at and wrote his name down so I wouldn’t forget. I said “okay” and started walking away halfway from the desk to the door the lady started yelling from across the store about how “we get a high influx of trucks at the end of the day so we shut the propane down early.” I never said anything about the propane when I went inside so how does she know what I wanted to file a complaint about? Could have been the professionalism I received and that I was told not to buy a propane tank and had to go buy one and came back to you’re operation closed early. I never said anything I just kept walking out. I will NEVER come to this location ever again. I have been here very many times to refill propane and rent vehicles as well. I have dealt with these Individuals enough already and this cut it. I did text the manger (her name and contact info was on the card) that evening stating what happened exactly like I did above and I have not heard back. (5 days later)(pictured is the new propane tank I bought)

A uhaul backed into my mother’s car while she was waiting for me, the manager’s “solution” was to “review the cameras and let us know,” this was Saturday. She made ONE attempt to get ahold of us by phone while we were moving and did not leave a message. We will be filing a claim with our insurance and avoiding this location at all costs in the future

- Negative stars. Read all the recent and 1 star reviews. And the BBB reviews all are 1star with thousands of complaints filed, U-Hauls response to every single one of them is the exact same automated message. No U-Haul is not BBB accredited. - The manager, Kayla, needs to be fired, over two years ago. I've heard 50+ people say the same thing. Including the old manager. I've had more issues than I can remember with her and the location, god forbid you call her out on her mistakes and not be grateful for her existence. Make sure you do their job for them and check to see if your reservation is actually even made before you go to pick it up. Because they like to wait till the very last minute to make a reservation you've made a month ago. She has been a detriment to the service she unprofessionally provides. U-Haul is losing thousands upon thousands of dollar from myself alone, and others not using the location, due to herself and her accomplices directly. This U-Haul location in particular, probably has one of the highest turnover rates in the country. All of the good, legit, long standing staff that were there before, left because of her. Don't trust that if you leave something in one of their vehicles that it will be there the next day for you to pick up. Her and the staff like to steal things. The U-Haul maintenance technicians are unprofessional and will talk smack about you, the paying customer, as they watch you work to transfer items from their broken down equipment to something that hopefully will hold up on the road. Kayla didn't like that I posted facts on Better Business Bureau, like I'm doing here, and got me banned from the all the uhauls in the state a few days ago. That's how pathetic she is, and why I'm posting. Many times I had gotten vehicles that were not clean inside, and many times I've gotten trucks that were not road ready, but I was a nice guy and just rolled with it. I should have made a point and made them do their job correcty. In the past I have tried to talk to her like an adult unfortunately she is not one and we weren't able to come to a resolve on issues that had arisen. She either simply would not respond, or basically would tell me to screw myself. Read all the recent, and 1 star reviews... Go to ANY other U-Haul. I have been to just about every other U-Haul in the area, and they are great!

Very caring and kind staff. My husband accidentally locked the keys in the box truck we rented in their parking lot 🤦🏻‍♀️ The staff was so gracious towards us. They were able to solve the problem without charging us an arm and a leg. Highly recommend! Thank you so much!
