Do not let them install your hitch! This is their version of an acceptable way to charge you $160 just to install the wiring alone! As soon as the door shuts, it pinched the wires. I expect this out of a alley mechanic, not a national brand.

This is a flaming dumpster fire of a company. I doubt anyone from uhaul is reading this but you guys need to get it together. I did a long one way trip. Booked at one location, was told that it was at a different (further) one and I get there and they tell me it is at another different (even further) location. It's a good thing I didn't have any time constraints that day. I had ordered furniture pads and of course they didn't have them at the gas station dealer so I had to call to get a refund. Driving it sucks. No cruise control and a lot of play in the steering. The skin on my hands hurts from constantly adjusting the wheel to stay in my lane. But I was honestly not really upset until I was dropping off at this location. I parked the truck and there was an employee outside watching me do so. I didn't know or see that there was a specific return area. I go inside and wait in line. I get up to the counter and say "hey how's it going?" (To the guy who was watching me park the truck). All he says in response is "where did you park that?" In a sour tone. He knew exactly what was going on and couldn't be bothered to say something to me while he was out there. So I pull around after wasting probably 20 minutes and I was done with dealing with the humans at that point. Found out the app is also garbage. Horribly slow. Took several tries to upload each photo at drop off while an employee who was finally available to help me just kinda awkwardly stood there waiting for me while I struggled with the app. If you don't value your sanity and want to waste your money please ignore my review.

There often was nobody behind the counter to help the line of people who were waiting to get service. Secondly, I had to sweep out cobwebs from the bed of the truck. But most importantly they lied to me. They told me there was half a tank of gas and there was well under half a tank of gas. When I filled it to the level requested next door mind you so there was no use between when I added gas in when I returned it, there was more gas in it than there was when I picked it up. Then they charged me for 2 gallons of gas and inaccurately represented where the gas tank needle was. This is completely unacceptable. Unless this is corrected I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Sioux Falls, as well as making reviews online. I don't often need to rent a truck, but have always used U-Haul in the past. This was the worst experience I've ever had.

U-Haul people working in Sioux Falls need a better training. The customer service in Sioux Falls is very rude and not helpful. Not even comparable to the team working in Syracuse. My U-box delivery was delayed for 3 days, and the customer service refused the $50/day compensation and asked me to pick the box by myself when I’ve ordered the delivery service. He then hanged up on me abruptly. This site is short of drivers so they couldn’t make the delivery on time. The waiting time to get connected with a customer service was also ridiculous. If I could give negative stars I would.

We alerted u haul that the door wasn’t holding and had fallen onto someone and hurt them while we had the trailer. The door would sometimes hold and sometimes not, so we didn’t notice that the spring was broken upon initial inspection. Hence, I was charged for the damage that we did not cause and u haul would not listen to an explanation. Greedy jerks who don’t about anything but making money
