I called them this morning and tried to get a 2 to 3 month rental on a U-Box but the computers were having difficulty so they said they would call me back. They never did so this afternoon I was going to be in the area and I stopped in the person who was helping me literally told me he would be leaving in 5 minutes he didn't understand why the owner gave him this to do and let someone else leave early and then he wasn't going to be dealing with this he was going to be leaving on time so I tried to be nice and graceful and said look I have a couple of other errands to run let me go run them while you deal with the computer and your boss and when I get back hopefully you'll have it all done for me got back half an hour later and absolutely nothing was done and the person who needed to help me spend the next 20 minutes on the phone ignoring me when he did finally get to me I only had 5 minutes left so he told me he would call me this afternoon and let me know when the order was placed and when I could pick it up tomorrow then he called and told me that I had to have it back in 2 to 3 days because it was on a toe and I told him I needed it for 2 to 3 months and he told me that he would have to deliver it and would it cost me another $100 to deliver it and then another $100 to have it picked up or else I couldn't have it at all because it would cost me an extra I don't remember five to 15 dollars a day to rent the toe let's put U-Haul out of business enough is enough this business should not be up and running on Williston Road at all! The owner can't even tie his shoes

After a nightmare experience from defective equipment, to round and round with customer service who apparently only puts bare bones of what customer tells them if anything at all. The waiting for hours for return phone calls. Just hell! To getting a $200 charge extra. Going in in person to speak to GM Patrick who at then end made a note and said it would be refunded and now approx. 3 weeks later no refund to be seen. If you do decide to go here and it’s a trailer check your own lights. Do not trust Trevor. I told this story to my neighbor who reminded me when I had used his trailer a few months earlier I mentioned rear lights not working. I had forgotten about it, so when Treavor gave me the thumbs up I thought nothing of it. I found out the next day the lights didn’t work and found several wires on their trailer corroded and broken. So there is no way they worked during the lamp check. Second if what my neighbor says holds true then even if their wires were connected the receptacle on my truck has something wrong and does send the signal. So my entire experience could have been avoided and the headache that Patrick got as a result could have been avoided had Treavor done his job, plain and simple. But aside from my 16 hours of wasted time, headache I risk monies the backside hit of $200 then the lie to not return just astounds me.

I called ahead the night before about renting an appliance dolly and spoke to somebody at their call center and also someone locally here at the Williston store. Both representatives knew that I only need an appliance dolly nothing else. However, when I arrived to rent the dolly, I was told that I can only rent an appliance dolly if I rent a truck! I headed to Sunbelt rentals in Essex but they were closed by 2 minutes when I arrived. I just want to scream! If U-Haul hadn’t wasted my time I would have made to Sunbelt on time. How can 2 reps at U-Haul be that incompetent that they don’t know you have to rent a truck to rent a dolly!!!

Disappointed in the customer service both at this location and with the company. My reservation was changed (location) and the equipment was not available and I was not notified. I was forced to rent smaller equipment. By the time I arrived to pick up my equipment I had a couple of items ordered online (ahead of time) items were at a different location. My card was charged at both and I spent the afternoon on the phone with the company. The in person service at this location was also disappointing. I was told by the representative in Williston that I had to call multiple different numbers in order to find the equipment I needed, and to get refunded. I called the numbers and I was transferred 3 times on the phone. Absolute mess, u-haul customer service needs improvement.

Online reservation, pickup experience were excellent! Equipment functioned as expected. Drop off was unsatisfactory. Waited ten minutes for the attendant who was outside and chatting with a customer to engage with me - I actually had to go to him to ask what was I supposed to do. He told me to drop the trailer and then I could leave - he said I did not need to do anything else. I get a call the next day for Uhaul asking when I was going to return the trailer. I’ll still rent from location but will be much more aggressive on the return.
