Honestly U-Haul I don’t know what happened to the gentleman who was working there about 4 months ago but wow the woman that was there this morning was very rude and unreasonable. We made a reservation to pick up a trailer for this morning for one way back to St. Louis. We drive the 2.5 hours and get to the store for them to tell us the systems are down and there is nothing they can do for us. She said you’ll just have to wait and I let her know we were on a time schedule and that wasn’t possible. I understand things happen but she couldn’t even let us know there was other possibilities. Just really disappointed in her lack of customer service skills. Thank goodness for the U-Haul at the Conoco down the street (who’s system wasn’t down 🤔) for being so kind and helping us get a trailer at the last minute. The woman from this location calls 30 mins later and asked why we didn’t pick up our trailer. 🤦🏼‍♀️

The instructions were not clear at all. There are actually two different locations here and it was very confusing as to where to go. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what to do. The unit had a seal on the lock and I was not sure if I was supposed to open it or not. I went to the manager for help and he was apathetic and flippant with me. I will never rent here or at another uhaul again.

The general manager was a great guy and very helpful, straight up. Really liked him. Be warned: The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the trailer I rented had to be returned to the Jefferson City location, and that caught me off guard when I went to pick it up. Because I had to have the trailer to meet obligations, I had no choice but to rent it for several more days to ensure I could get it back to Jeff City. In all my other dealings with U-Haul I was able to return the vehicle to any U-Haul location.

Policy to not refund money when over fueling your vehicles. This policy needs to be updated or else your company continues to steal from your customers. It is SUPER easy to calculate how much is owed for the difference.. you do it when there is less gas! Add a Note
