NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Broke promises. Showed up late, requiring work into 10:00 pm. Movers took as many breaks as work time. Boxes packed by movers were not labelled. My packed, color-coded, labelled boxes were placed in wrong rooms, on wrong floors. Movers broke Waterford decanter, Capodimonte vase, decorative glass, turntable, and three bookcases. Owner reduced total price because of incompetence BEFORE all damage was assessed. I paid only on agreement of receipt of claims form for damages. After submitting the form, owner refuses to compensate. NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. INCOMPETENT AND DISHONEST. WOULRATE A 0 IF POSSIBLE

Michael smith and company did a great job for me on an apartment move with short notice in Covington The gentlemen were courteous professional and worked quickly despite brutal heat . Price was extremely fair and would not hesitate to call them again

Chelsea and the entire crew were great! I loved the firm price upfront as there were no surprises. When moving day arrived the crew worked hard, quick and efficiently. My items were handled with care and everything made it from one location to the next in perfect condition. I appreciate the hard work and positive attitudes. Uncle Sam's Moving Corp moved my household from Metairie to Covington in October 2023. The packing personnel were polite, thorough and took great care with my belongings. The young men who did the moving were exceptional and easy to work with. It took more than one day because of the amount of contents in house, garage, and shed. They did not complain when I did a little rearranging and were happy to assist. All employees working at the old house and my new home were hard workers. I highly recommend Uncle Sam's Moving Corp. Do not recommend. I inquired with the owner about moving some equipment and hauling off. Instead of letting me know he could not do this he simply just ignored my calls. Very unprofessional and based off other reviews it was a blessing in disguise. Buyer beware!
