Worst experience of all time. The one guy was pretty cool and kind and I had a nice chat with him. But the other guy was super rude and had no respect for his clients. He kept haggling for with every extra little thing that was not on the list. He refused to take my little folding desk, pull up bar, two paintings because that was not on the list and kept complaining how they will charge for every extra thing, even though the list you share ahead of time is just an approximation. I had listed 5 boxes, and only had 3 boxes for them to take. I had added a night stand which they kept complaining that they will charge me for it, instead of treating that as an additional box. The desk was on the list, and they kept complaining how that was not and made me feel bad about it, due to which I ended up forgetting to transport the heaviest piece of furniture that was part of the list in the first place. He refused to carry one back pack and a Trader Joe's bag (or they said they would charge extra). I just couldn't believe it...I could carry that in my car not a problem, but his attitude was as if he was some big shot. I had a folding guitar chair which was really small and they again asked me to take it back (or charge extra). The wheels of my chair was damaged during transport. They gave me so much mental stress that I forgot them to take the desk which is why I booked the movers int he first place. Now I need to find a way to transport that desk. Again the first guy was super cool and accommodating, but the second guy was aggressive and rude, and I just couldn't believe all the little stuff he made me return. The move itself can be so stressful, and having such people around you just spoil your day especially when things don't get done the way they should have. From the beginning Jacob worked with me multiple times to get an accurate list, answered all my questions and made sure I was prepared for the day. The movers came on time very punctual! 3 person crew I believe Bryan was the lead they were amazing. Aside from the over two hour drive to the new location hey worked to help fit everything in our storage unit which took time because it was small. Great attitudes, no upsell on the day of which another company had wanted me of. Would absolutely be using them for my next move.

Look absolutely no further than Up n' Go if you are looking for the most affordable and caring moving company in New York City. As my first time long distance move from Long Island City to Fort Lauderdale their rates and the exceptional customer service couldn’t compare to any other on the market. The professionalism to show up perfectly on time for both pick up and delivery and their communication during the entire move are what makes them stand out!

phenomenal movers! They were able to help me with the last-minute job and got everything to my new apartment within 72 hours. Then movers were professional quick and very friendly.
